A proper discussion requires an agreement and understanding of basic facts. You don't possess such basic knowledge or you are being purposely obtuse. Either way I don't have the patience to interact with you nor the vested interest to want to.

After I ask for facts or clarification, you say I lack an understanding of basic facts.

Well done indeed.

I would go farther in Sanders defense: What Perknose advocates are practical platitudes for winning in a country where true Democracy is dead and will stay dead until the real meaning of Socialism is understood to mean taking back control of the country to address the needs of average people. How like an elitist Socialist Jew to lead in a cause like that how how willing we all are to crucify him before suggests on earth as in heaven. We walk the land of the spidery dead whose webs could our vision and plug up our ears. For the dead there is only awakening via spiritual revolution. In this land of the blind, let the one eyed man be king. Socialism is the opposite of narcissism.

Isn't it ironic that we have a Jew spreading the good word and people treat him this way?

Do you think that the corporate elite, that are the DNC bigwigs, want their taxes to go up to what the regular people in this country pay? Not much of a conspiracy theory when it comes to the elite and their money.

So the party that was controlled by the corporate elite that has ran on and that has actually raised taxes on the rich and corporations are now the same people in the party that are actively trying to stop such things from happening?

Yeah, a conspiracy indeed/eye roll.

Its 2016 all over again!

What an embarrassment for Iowa and an unfortunate event for whoever ends up winning. If the app didn't work, then the state coordinator should be demanding that the county coordinators get an Excel spreadsheet together.

The headlines this morning should've been something like "Bernie and Pete win big, Biden stumbles." Then all day it's about analyzing and spinning the results. The headlines tomorrow morning will be about the SOTU. Here today gone tomorrow.

These campaigns didn't spend tens of millions of dollars, and dedicate tens of thousands of man hours to the state of Iowa, so the results could get buried the next evening among news stories about how shitty the Iowa caucuses are. Bloomberg's the real winner here.

Caucuses should be blasted off into the sun. Maybe they once had usefulness. We should be making voting easier, not harder. Caucuses do a poor job at measuring voters preferences. The national Democratic Party should put a 50% penalty of delegates on state parties that hold caucuses instead of primaries.

Here is what they should do. If the Dems take the WH and Senate they should borrow Mitch's playbook and tell the Republicans that they are no longer needed and change any rules needed to pass their legislation expeditiously.

Yeah, but it's Democrats we are talking about here. That ain't their game ;)

Ok what a snub to Repubs and their lifestyle it would be if Buttigieg goes on to win in November. Can't wait to see it.

I'm watching Steve kornackie try to explain what's going on and not only can he not but none of what's been posted even make sense.

None of them want the cap on Social Security being removed. Currently, all income over $200,000 isn't taxed for Social Security purposes Bernie wants that corrected and the DNC doesn't want that.

iowa should never be allowed to go first ever again.

Why?

Why? Why the F would they put that out?!

What the F does that even mean?

So Iowa, who won?

-uhhhh Sanders maybe, or Pete, but maybe Warren. Could still be Joe tho... We can say we're pretty confident it wasn't Tom Stayer. Yup. Pretty kinda sure on that one.

Oh.. great, thanks, you fuckin hicks. When will we get the rest of the results?

-uhhhh.... :shrugemoji:

Jesus Christ... I hope that cow butter statue falls over and kills all of you.

So the party that was...

To be fair, there are quite a few moderates who seem less interested in meaningful change and more about tweaking a few numbers in the status quo. Then Democrats all get blamed when compromise (ACA) isn't good enough to solve the problem. Then the coin flips and it is the Republican's turn. America is a hell of a mess. We need to campaign on policy that is bold enough to reach more people.

Releasing results at 62%...lol

I hope to never fuck up anything so comprehensively and publicly as the Iowa Dems have. This should be a warning to all the states that come next.

But in Donald J. Trump Presents: Trump 2: The Trumpening - Electric Trumpaloo they will finally fix the terrible awful ACA!

I used to be all for campaigning on policy but it turns out that the majority of Americans are too stupid to understand policies. What happens when people run on policy is that the less scrupulous simply distort the policy and change the narrative.

I saw that Nevada decided "Yeah, we don't want that to be us" and won't be using the app.

Before the Nov 2016 election I was looking forward to laughing at all the craziness that Trump would cause if he won and so I kinda secretly hoped he would win.

Now before the Nov 2020 election I'm looking forward to laughing at how disgusted the conservatives will be if Buttigieg wins, to see the Repubs slowly squirming in horror at his lifestyle choices, watching Repubs threatening some sort of revolt and seeing conservatives opening planning attacks against progressives for what conservatives perceive as abysmal moral behavior if Buttigieg is elected in Nov. So I kinda secretly hope he wins. Looking forward to quite a show.
