Today I picked up the Logitech tablet keyboard at walmart on clearance. It says its for iPad but for the price I figured I'd give it a shot. Works flawlessly! Its the one that comes with a case that doubles as a stand. Just FYI...

Definitely watching this for when the stable version comes out! I did a couple of CM on a Nook color. Very nice....

I had a large update to Android come through yesterday and my tab now reports 4.4.2 but I thought I was there already.

Kernal version has a date of Apr 8 14 as does the SE for Android.

got that too. so far ive noticed the screen seems to be less overly sensitive. that's been my main annoyance with the 8.4 so far; accidental taps when im simply swiping.

I'm happy to report that Plex is done right. Although you can't install the app to the sd card, it does allow you to store your data there. I'm loving the Tab Pro so far. Good battery life, and a great screen makes it the tablet to beat this year.

Amusing how did you pull that off; it is listed @ 329.

I came to best buy assuming that the price is 329.99, but the salesman told me that the tab is only 279.99. This is too good of a deal.

I like the screen compare to the nexus 7 2013 that I used to have. Haven't try much with the battery life yet. And the weight is comparable despite the bigger size.

They're basically clearing it out for the Tab S, but that's a really nice price.

That was my thought as well. The Tab S screens look absolutely stunning, and thats saying something since the TabPro 8.4 had a great screen itself.

Device is fast.

This was one of the tablets I short-listed for a customer. I have a Nexus 5 phone. IMO, mine is more responsive than this tablet (I can't think of any points or times where I've considered mine to lag), the 8.4 seemed laggy at times, I can't say I was particularly impressed with it.

Based on my experience with the N5, I'd go with a Nexus tablet (if I wanted a tablet) I think unless I heard some very conflicting reports about it.

The other thing I noticed was the poor content scaling on the Google Play Store, overlapping text when you click on an app that you want to read more about. If I had authority in Samsung, I would have stopped it shipping until that issue was fixed, one way or another (Google's fault?).

The screen auto brightness was also odd. Initially when I picked it up, the screen was so dark that it was barely legible (darker than my N5 if I manually set brightness to zero), and this was in a dark room. It recovered from that within a minute or two, but it was still weird.

I'm surprised by the comments of the 'amazing screen'... what are you used to then? I would use the N5 as my yard stick for comparing screens with other mobile devices these days I think, and I can't say that the Samsung screen seemed amazing. Perfect decent perhaps.

16GB for Apps.... Not an issue for me.

Yeah, I was thinking that when the person you replied to was saying that 16GB even with the option of a MicroSD card wasn't enough!

At the time of posting this I've only browsed the first two pages of this thread, I don't have time to go through the rest right now.

Weird. I never noticed before but apparently there's no way to automatically keep the time in sync on this tablet?

It's drifted a few minutes off so I thought I had left the auto-set feature off but then I couldn't find it in Settings. After some googling, I found that it's apparently left out of certain model tablets. That's very strange, Samsung!

I've been thinking about this and the tab s (for 8inch device) and I think that both are lame cause they have 800 and not 805. For a high resolution screen I really want the 805 (h.265 support and much faster gpu; as well as better battery life).

Gonna put mine on the chopping block due to personal reasons. I'm gonna ask $260 with a 16gb card. Think that is a good price?

230-250 seems to be the going online rate. The 200 listings on swappa are most likely due to motivated sellers.

Received an update last night. Appears much more stable. NFS:Most wanted doesn't crash at launch anymore.
