Gaius is a cool name.

Roman names are pretty cool. I've been reading I, Claudius and Claudius the God, lots of great names.

Just get it over with, and name the poor kid Unus. I hate people that take Roman names and have no idea what they're naming their kid.

It's like a Chinese guy naming their son "Outhouse", because he likes the way the name sounds.

BTW, it's the masculine form of "Gaia", or Earth

actually according to Wikipedia: Gaius or Caius was a common Roman praenomen derived from Etruscan Cai, meaning " I am glad".
