G35 or TL?

The oil issue burning on the G is real but I didn't read into it enough to know how serious.

FWIW My 2000 Maxima with 134k was burning certainly no more than a quart of Mobil 1 each oil change (7500 miles). I think honestly less than that; I rarely checked the oil and it was never a problem.

My friend and I did it in his '03. It wasn't hard at all - all we had to do it bypass the stock amp or else the stereo wouldn't be loud at all.

I've read the DIY guides and what not and it doesn't seem to be that hard to do the HU.. I did have someone do my install though since I've never been great with electronics. Here's a photo from the installer showing the HU.

i'd take the TL-S if you're just commuting. its more practical with a nice interior and i LOVE that body style.

g35 will probably be faster and sportier though and is still a very nice car.
 
Go for the G35. I had an '05 6MT sedan and loved it.

I had less problems in 3 years with my G35 than I had in 3 months with my current car.
 
I would go with the TL. Been in both and I think the TL is far superior. If your all about performance then obviously the G35 is where its at.

The TL is much more comfortable on the inside and IMHO looks better. I live in South Florida and every bus boy with an ego drives a g35 or bmw 3 series. So I think that cheapens the car a little.

The TL is just a classier option and it does have some pep. Plus its a Honda!
 
Love my G35 Coupe and it's an 03 6MT with Brembos. and it is easy to put a head unit in if you buy the entire kit. ( about 100 bucks)
 
For me, the G35 is way too luxury oriented. But holy god of fucking shit lordy death pain is it a better car. I cannot conceive of a person sitting in a G35 and thinking it isn't luxurious enough. It's like... a person thinking a milkshake is watery. Or that butter isn't fatty enough. I....
