Have you thought about counseling? Maybe there's some group therapy near you for people with social anxiety. Also you should seriously consider getting a gym membership. A little over a year ago I was around 180 lbs. (I'm about 5'8") and feeling pretty tubby, even though my arms and legs didn't show it. I finally decided that I wouldn't use my appearance as an excuse to hate myself, so I started dieting and doing cardio/weights 4-5 times a week. So far I've lost about 30 lbs. and gained some muscle, and feel much more comfortable about my image. I'm still apprehensive about walking around without a shirt though, lol.

Also, I think you've been brainwashed about women from your folks/environment. You should be concerned about the possibility of being single for the rest of your life if you don't change your perceptions about them. I strongly recommend some counseling.

I'm 9000 pounds and I run around naked on highly populated streets.

Thanks for insulting me.

ah, this thread won't die because we love to give advice and OP's picking for sympathy. He even admits the right to just listen and not change.

I agree w/ most people, it's the attitude/perception. In due time (since OP's a Christian?) God will use circumstances to break that down and you'll be a new man in Christ. Keep on praying for the Lord to open your eyes to what He wants you to do, instead of what you want.

IMHO, "just friends" is the step to "girlfriend" (the reverse of OP's priorities, by his own words) If OP is always aiming for "girlfriend" then he's mentally and emotionally accelerating the relationship from accquaintence to girlfriend, which has a low success rate, isn't good for long term, and most girls are not into.

my 2 cents ends for this thread.

Can we get rid of this guy, please?

We seriously need a system where we can systematically nominate & eliminate the idiots.

I would suggest a daily system (one ban per day, perhaps two on holidays), in a couple months we could greatly reduce the idiot population here.

To give people a chance to repent & walk in the light we could make the first one a warning, with a one week re-evaluation before the perma ban.

On the other hand, if someone received above say... 90% votes to ban then no warning would be necessary.

Skywalker would be my first nomination vote, second would be dmcowen.

Viper GTS

Only under one condition.

We can trade and unban exiled members such as Wduaqnug

No. Banning him would be too easy and I think the mods know that. As long this halfwit is allowed to stay here he'll keep coming back to us because he is an attention whore of colossal proportions. He's even said it himself, "I need to be banned so I can get a life". I hope you do stay, Skywalker, because you're a sorry parody of yourself. Your complete and utter lack of introspection will keep you in that perpetual hole you're stuck in, and the further down you go the more amused I am by it.

he's not saying he was banned then unbanned, he's just confirming what panzerIV posted.
