LOL, Candian special ops. What was his job, to clean out the treads on the tank? And that other guy looked way taller than only 3 inches taller.

I'm told JTF2 is pretty badass, but now I have to wonder... :hmm:

P.S. The tank is self-cleaning. Actually we're pretty sure it became self-aware a few years back.

..just don't let it think you know that it is...go about your routine as if nothing is amiss.

Trudeau said recently on the weekly talk show Tout Le Monde En Parle that he has no intention of running for leadership of the Liberal Party at this time even though his name has been mentioned and he's a favourite in the polls. Reason his: he has two very young children and already has to spend the week away from them in Ottawa (they're in Montreal with his wife and TV personality Sophie Grégoire) and he sees them only on weekends because of his job as MP and parliamentary critic. He wants to be there for his children and being party leader would be too time consuming for this.

He also mentioned how his famous father Pierre Elliott Trudeau reserved a time every day from 6:30-8pm to be with his young children, at which time the Prime Minister's sole preoccupation was his boys and he was basically incommunicado for the rest of the nation.

Wow they are a lot younger than I expected. I was expecting 50yr old guys.

MP Trudeau is 40. Although he's a millionaire, he's been elected twice in a riding with maybe the lowest per capita income in the Montreal area. Senator Brazeau is 37 (and he'll be senator until the mandatory Senate retirement age of 75 since you are 'appointed for life' in the Upper Chamber).

He's wrong in his definition but you in the US do use liberal in a very strange way.

If you just pay attention to this board in particular, liberal and even progressive have become almost swear words.
But I'm a Canadian and even though I think we are heading down a dark and dumb path too, for now we still like to use words by their proper definition.

So out of interest what do you guys from the US think when you hear phrases like "the liberalisation of trade laws" and the like?

You do know that is not true everywhere and the liberal party in Canada is a center left party, right?

ideology/party identification fail

Edit: and the conservative party in canada is the center-right party
