I just noticed two members with a sub-title of "Senior Moderator". Are we supposed to be able to see that now?

Another Issue:

Regarding the search, you can no longer search for member names like "So" and "KK" because of the more than 2 letter limit which was removed before.
 
this only seems to happen in opera as far as i can tell

if i use the ">>" button to jump to the last page of a thread it does not work, instead i get this

it changes the thread view style or some crap, only way to make it go away is to hit the "<<" button or go back maually

oddly if im on the last page of a thread and use the "<<" button to go back, it does not happen

doesnt happen in IE 7 or FF 2.X

im running opera 9.21
 
just got a bunch of fixes installed -- please let me know if anything on list that doesn't say fixed is now .. fixed ...

and also, please let me know if there are any new issues

Any chance we could get the 1 2 Last for multipage threads made available in Search results? It used to be there.
 
while this isn't an issue per say, before the update, there was no quick reply nor reply in a locked thread. now, even when a thread is locked, i still see the box for a quick reply and the reply button. while i can't reply cause the thread is indeed locked,

the quick reply and the reply button shouldn't exist in a locked thread.

btw, using opera 9.21 on XP Pro.

Yes that would help a lot. And if they could be links not java buttons so I can middle mouse click and tab them.
 
I don't know if this was already mentioned, or if it is not a forum issue. But the site keeps linking to a FAQ page that doesn't exist (or that I at least can never seem to open).

None of these controls that show up at the top & bottom of a thread seem to have an indicator that they are working under IE7 (No cursor change, etc)

will this ever be fixed? my gm script has stopped working so now i notice it more. pretty annoying.

That's odd, mine still works. Have you tried reinstalling the script?

yep, it was my fault, script just needed a re-install. maybe someday i won't need it.

I seem to be suffering from this as well, I just have KAV installed but the forums load MUCH quicker with it disabled. I haven't seen issues with any other sites.

Indeed, this is a problem with Kaspersky.

Mr. Wilson, you might want to talk to Kaspersky about this, many Anandtech users are experiencing the problem (please see link for solutions if any of you are experiencing this)
 
Out of curiosity, does ANYONE look at the new topic rating system?

I've tried giving 5 stars to every single topic in a few of the less visited forums today, and I don't think that anyone even noticed it!
 
40) View Posts (in user profile) does not present user's posts in any sort of date order.


Derek, if I click on your avatar, at the top of the new window is DerekWilson's User Profile (View Posts). If I click on the (View Posts) link, I get a new window with your posts. This is cool, except that your posts are seemingly in random order. Personally, I prefer the most recent to be at the top.
