store looks open... lots of cars there for last 2 days.... and i mean LOTS...
not sure if store is open or just training thier staff....

rumours are its open

Saw it too... TONS of cars there yesterday!!! I am going to go buy there tonight and check it out for myself.... MAN I hope its open!!!

we talking about the sugarland one... it looks like it might be open.. but I havent seen any ads or any other announcement of the opening except for alot of cars there the last couple days

Well it *must* be open...your buddy was sucked into the "omg look at all this stuff!" The guys Shopping Trip :\

Friends tell me there is so much activity it must be open.
 
Nope.... not open yet... but I haven't gone by myself yetl... but he said there was no foot traffic.. just vbehicles in the lot....

45 minutes - Try 8 or 9 hours. They need to build some more on the east coast. I just visited the one in Austin - nice store.

the entire front lot was filled yesterday
 
Validated, this morning. They are just training. I don't know when they are opening, but there were lots of cars in the parking lot.

 
I wasn't able to post this afternoon, but I dispatched a family member (posing as a customer) Thursday (10 March, 1300hrs local) to attempt to gain entry... 😛

They made it inside the doors before getting stopped. Frys employee said they will open in 5 weeks. Currently running mass interviews and some final construction work.

*Edit: Not even training employess at this point.
 
From a freind in the know...
There is a good chance that the store will open this afternoon. One of the Fry family memebers was there to conduct an inspection and let them know if they were going to open or not. The inside of the store from what I have been told is done up in granite all over the place and looks similar to the Austin store on the inside. 😀
 
Yes... I went by and the were doing employee interviews and accepting applications... one of the mangers was nice enough to talk to me and told me they will be open on April 1st (NEXT FRIDAY!!!!)

I will see yall there!!!
 
Anyone have word on an exact opening date? Went by 3-25-2005 and someone said that they would be open Monday 3-28-2005. Can anyone confirm this? Friday 4-1-2005 may be the grand opening.

I don't think so...When Fry's put up a store in Chicago it was awesome! I live 2 hours away but it is worth the drive for me.

I work for Fry's, I'm part of the 'A-Team' who is going to the Sugarland grand opening.....
Grand Opening starts, Thursday March 31st, and will be open to Wednesday April 6th for sure, because thats when I am going to be working there as an 'A-Teamer'.....

That is the SET date. Hope to see ya'll there 🙂


btw, Webster hasn't had the official "GRAND OPENING" yet.... Not sure when they are gonna have it, it should have been a while back though.... Odd that Sugarland is having theirs first....
