Fry's in Sugarland, TX (Houston) is NOW OPEN!

Ive heard the date of January 19th... but I don't think that is correct. I do however expect it to open within the month. 😀
 
Great my birthday is on the 20th. Man I have passed that fry's for the past 3 weeks. Every time I am on 59 I check it out to make sure it isn't open. Since I am in Missouri City, I am even closer than Sugarland (well 1 mile into MO City).

 
Awesome, I live where Meadows Place, Stafford, Sugar Land, and Houston all meet together, its like... the 4 corners of suburbia or somelameshtlikethat 😉


Fry's will be very close now 🙂 instead of the hour drive to the one up north.
 
I live in Southeast Houston and the new fry's there is only about 5-10 minutes away. I was so happy, have already been there a few times and also was able to do christmas shopping there. I hated how the only one in houston was an hour or 45 min away.
 
when i drove on 59 today, i saw a fry's right after i passed beltway8, is it the new one u guys talking about?
 
man, back in december when the clear lake store a manager told me it would open late jan or early feb...i went and asked two days ago and now they're saying not until march. either they're pulling my leg or they just can't get their shite together. hell, the alief store construction started before the clear lake store.
 
I talked to a worker when I was at the Fry's in Webster, he said the grand opening sells should be substantial when the Sugar Land store opens. Who ever hits it first needs to post that up.
 
I pass it every morning, just waiting to see people stocking the shelves or the lights on or something... I cannot wait till this thing opens.. I am sick of driving to 45 and West....

COMON GUYS! GET IT IN GEAR!!

Whatever you do, do not miss the grand opening day at a new Fry's. The best deals I've seen by far in the ATL store were on that first day.
 
No signs yet... this is pissing me off.. the store looks to have been completed over a month ago...
I actually excepted them open before Xmas...
I drive past it every day ill post when i see a sign
 
Cool, I will keep an eye out as well... I drive in from Sugar Land each morning on my way to downtown for work... so I get depressed every morning as well... LOL!!


Hopefully soon!! Maybe we can will it open! everyone consentrate!! 😀

I was told the Grand Opening for all Houston stores will be after the Sugarland location opens. They are shooting for a mid Feb soft opening. So add about 1 month for the soft opening, you get a March Grand Opening.

I will be paying attention to the paper!!! I am from San Jose and the best sales are the Grand Opening, then BF, and evenly Memorial/4thJuly/Labor Day sales.

Sometimes there are specific items.

If you're coming from downtown, fry's will be on the left side not far after passing beltway 8. I'm not sure what exit to take, Maybe Murphy/W. Bellfort exit?
 
Webster store employees told me they were planning a dual Grand Opening event once the Sugarland store opened; expected to be late Jan or early Feb (that was on 1 Jan 05). My good eye tells me the Sugarland store is much smaller than most Frys I have seen, to include the Houston I-45N store.

The store is at the 59 / Beltway interchange, if you were headed "into town" on 59 it is on your lower right 😛 Exit W. Airport from 59N, go through the light, resist the WalMart and Jack-in-the-Box, stay in the right lane. See you there...
