I'm converting my desktop to an HTPC this weekend. It's primary purpose is going to be running Windows Media Center and Plex (plus Hulu/Netflix/ESPN), along with some torrents and handbrake encoding. No gaming at all, I've got my new laptop for that.
The system is an i5-2400 on an Asus P8H67-M LE. At the time, I figured it was the right CPU for me, since i had no use for the integrated GPU as a PC gamer. Times have changed and I now find myself regretting not getting the 2500k for the HD3000 GPU.
I have a HD 6850 discrete GPU that I could put in my new case if necessary, but is it? Or with my very limited use scenario, do you think the HD2000 should be sufficient?
