Sounds like you've got the makings for a full blown sit com. Much happy to you and all of your inlaws and outlaws and your semi, demi, quasi, and full blooded siblings. :D :D :D

<< What else are we missing? Were they friends for a long while and just started dating or what? >>

Yes, they've known each other for a while. I introduced them. I met BBQG here and just "knew" he and Julie would 'click'. So, I introduced them....and they did. :D

EDIT:

Not that I wish to get into a pissing contest with anyone or start a flame war, but, responses from small minded people is why I don't post in these forums often.
Instead of jumping to conclusions, a more civil minded person would have inquired about any extenuating circumstances, such as the fact that we have been communicating by any means possible for at least six months and knew each other quite well before ever meeting in person.

<< I don't usually say this, but you have some serious problems. Proposing to someone after knowing them for 2 days is the most preposterous thing I have ever heard. Are you really that desperate to get married? >>

<< khtm - LOLOLOL!!! You have no idea of the situation...heehee It's all good. >>

<< BTW, Julie and I have them beat, I met her on a Wednesday and proposed to her on Friday, two days is shorter than a week on MY calendar. >>

Um...nope. I think I got the situation right (as per BarbeQueGuy's own words). ;)

Oh ok. BTW I never jumped to any conclusions...but I wasn't given any facts. I didn't know you had an online "relationship" for 6 months prior.

<sarcasm>
Gee. It must feel good to be such an "open minded" person. It sure sucks being myself and being so "small minded".
</sarcasm>

Don't be a jackass. You specifically BRAGGED about winning the "shortest *physical* relationship ever to result in marriage" award.

BTW, Julie and I have them beat, I met her on a Wednesday and proposed to her on Friday, two days is shorter than a week on MY calendar.

Please notice my *physical* comment. And unless you don't want "small minded" people like myself to jump to conclusions, perhaps you shouldn't suggest that those conclusions should be jumped to ;)

In case I didn't make it clear, I still stand by statement that meeting someone for 2 days and then proposing to them is the most preposterous thing I have ever heard. Don't even try to say you talked by e-mail or phone, because there's no way that even compares to communicating with a *physical* person. I'm sure even a "open minded" person such as yourself knows that a huge part of communicating is body language, which cannot be seen over the phone or through e-mail.

Enjoy your married life :)

Hmmm...probably none, since they'll all be too far away from me ;)
Unless you're paying for plane tickets, too! :D

I think it's lovely. Besides, I have full confidence that Hzl and Jewelee will whip them into shape if they misbehave. ;)

It's not like we are talking about teenagers here. Life is short and then you die... they may as well grab some happiness along the way. The only thing I would suggest is that they protect their individual finances and look into some sort of legal agreement that would protect them 'just in case'.

You know, the world can be a cold,lonely place sometimes. Personally it makers me smile to see posts from people who have managed to connect with another human being in some sort of meaningful way.Geez,peeps,it's Xmas.. why not just be happy and glad that some folks have connected ?

My congrats to Hazel's mom, Charlie, BBQ guy and Jewleen, may the season bring to you nothing but joy :)

Natelthrope

<< and we care why? >>

Because unlike you, Hazel Eyed Girl and her life is interesting where as your is usually made up and rather far fetched. Any more questions Nate?

Let me add to that.

Nate,you sir are a sophistical rhetorician, inebriated with the exuberance of his own verbosity, and gifted with an egotistical imagination that can at all times command an interminable and inconsistent series of arguments to malign an opponent and to glorify himself.

Wish them a happy life together from me, Heather - forget the naysayers, a week is a week is a week. They're adults and know what they're doing.

Many happy thoughts from up north. :)

loosely translated...
"nate is very good @ rhetorical questions, he's drunk on the excitement of his use of vocabulary,his ego lets him imagine that he can start and control very long and inconsistant arguements to "put down" the the person of his hate at the same time making himself look great...pretty good description to me:D
