Frito-Lay pulling biodegradable Sun Chips bag because people complain it's too noisy?

Someone needs to edit the video where they blow up people that don't want to reduce their pollution levels to blow up people that have noisy chip bags.

They have to respond to their consumers. Consumers are their bread and butter.

As far as the noisy bag... ppl are just pissed they can't get away with being a chip hog. But those are the ppl buying the product so they are forced to change it.

I can't remember the last time I bought a bag of Sunchips. Find them too salty, but hearing someone open it gives me the shivers.

this totally disregards that the cost of an alternative bag might be higher or that the process might be owned and patented by another company.
 
Watching the news now, they were talking about this and pulled out a bag. Seriously, it is friggin loud and was driving me nuts as they were just handling the bag.

Surprised they can't make the bag less noisy.

Yeah it's a loud bag, but I thought that it was a great idea and was willing to put up with it. Too bad others weren't.
 
The bag is incredibly loud, in fact it was so loud that it made me laugh. When I picked up a bag of sunchips to buy I looked at it and said "How can this bag be so freaking loud?!"

I was just handling the bag normally too, now that they're gone I wish I would of crunched them up to hear their full potential.
 
These bags are horrible, I have a hippie roommate who eats them. And literally you can't have a conversation at a normal voice if they're reaching in a bag of these. When you have to talk in a louder voice because of the noise level of the bag there's a problem. I was watching the hippies TV and after about 2 minutes of the bag continually making the noise, he was all the way at the other end of the couch and when he opened it, it was like he was doing it an inch away from my head. I wanted to stab them in the forehead with a Spork. I'm still confused at how loud a simple grabbing of the bags are. It makes no sense, I'm going to head to the supermarket tonight and buy a bag while they're still around. And tomorrow go to the movie theater and sneak them in. 😀
 
Wow, I never knew about this. The last time I bought sun chips was in. . . 2006?

I will buy some tomorrow and walk around campus with my awesome new noisy (biodegradable) bag.
 
There is no way people would stop buying the chips because the bag is loud though... They should just keep doing what they are doing...

Actually, they would not have done this if there hadn't been a big enough impact to sales which is totally believable. Do I buy this bag that is completely annoying and makes me not want to eat what's in it because it's so loud, or do I get the competitors product that isn't so horrendously annoying?
