Friggin hell, I fell off my roof.

Man I was stringing christmas lights and I got on the roof to run them along the top. I was hanging over the edge to pull the wire and I leaned a bit too far. I fell from the roof and landed on my shoulder and back. I live in a tri-level so it was not that far, probably about 15 feet. Still hurt like hell. Worst part was my neighbor was taking groceries out of his car.... DOH!!! He already thinks I am an idiot, I hate that.
Oh yea my son leans out the door and tells me to hurry because it is getting dark... errrr smart ass.
 
I hope you are OK. Naturally I'm curious about what other data you've supplied your neighbor with, but some other time. Get better first. 😀

I hurt like hell but I am ok. I am just sore, nothing broken. I looked at my neighbor and he had this blank look on his face (like the one he had when I hit his truck) anyhow I looked at him, laughed and said thank goodness I had that "How to fall" class in high school. I walked away. My son is giving me hell because I broke one set of lights and bent the head of the deer that lights up. Man alive that boy is harsh. 🙂

That reminds me of the time I was vacuuming and I accidentaly vacuumed up one of my bras. It tore it apart.

hehe... 15ft is still pretty amazing to just tough it off. I think 90% of men falling 15ft would have a broken bone.

Hehe, I think it was something like, "OMG AIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!", but the trauma was so sever I really can't remember for sure.

If your medical is good I'd just go to the doc if I was still sore after a few days. Glad that your ok... that's a pretty long fall. It prolly looked like America's Dumbest Home Videos footage from your neighbor's angle. At least you're able to laugh it off. 😀
