As I type this, my face is covered in tears. My brother (and best friend) was 29 years old. Yes, was 29. I am 25. He died tonight at 11:53pm EST. His life of partying and alcoholism took his life. He died of liver failure. We never knew he drank this much until now, and he lived with me. He started getting sick Thursday and is now dead 5 days later. It can happen that quickly. Please hold your dear ones close and never forget to tell them that you love them.

I've only known you on the forums as the guy who owned a really fast LS1 and then traded it in for a Silverado/Sierra, but you seemed like a really good guy. My condolences man 🙁
 
Cable God I'm just overcome right now after reading this. I truely am with a loss for words. My heart goes out to you and your family.

My family has lost several members to alcoholism. It's a sad day when something so simple can strike down such a strong person. I feel your pain.
 
So sorry for your loss and extra sorry it happened during the holidays. Surprised though that liver failure can take someone so young.
