FACT: Comparable performance Macs cost more than their PC counterparts do.

FACT: Most schools are moving to PC solutions nowadays.

PRETTY CLOSE TO BEING FACT: Graphic designers are just jackasses that won't admit Apple is no longer King of Photoshop.

There is absolutely no reason at all for anyone to own a Mac in this day and age. Windows XP is rock solid, just as solid if not moreso than OS X. The only reason Apple hasn't faded off the planet into silent obvilion is the iPod and iTunes.
You, my friend, need to go lay down before you hurt yourself.

Besides the fact that OSX is more secure and more advanced system and that g5 was the first commercial PC to come with 64bit integers, yeah its only the art jaskasses that use em

And I'm sure that sse2 extensions are faster in vector processing than 128 pipeline on the g4/g5s. I wonder why g5s still have better benchmarks than comparable xenon machines.

Maybe you should get some education or at least some background info before talking outta your ass....
