WTF? Man, that's gettin' pretty low.

I was just about to say that. Sounds like hes playing a game of 'how low can you go'.

i hope you don't seriously think that a residental fence will keep some kids from stealing another cooler from your backyard if they want it. it will just make it somewhat harder from them to do. you should have probably just brought the cooler inside. but i know the feeling one gets when something is taken from them, so i'm sorry to hear....

can you say livestock electric wire run on on the inside behind the top of the pickets??? 😀

livestock electric wire? no, no..do it right..high voltage barbed wire that 3rd world dictators use 🙂

but seriously, get motion detector lights and a camcorder/webcam. have the webcam programed to record when the lights go on.

Oh, forget about those things like fences and visible wires.... Have fun getting your things stolen!

Forget about the electric fence thing... a quick snip of a wire with an insulated tool, and it's rendered useless.

Instead, do a quick search on the internet for how to make a big capacitor out of a 6 pack of beer. Leave the 6-pack capacitor out on your deck for the theiving kids to see. Zapppppppppp! Knock 'em on their a**es.

edit: Oh, and I agree with the webcam thing... You want to enjoy the results 🙂

your backyard doesn't have a fence? do you have any neighbors?

I know what you mean, I grew up in SoCal and was shocked when I moved away to find people in other areas of the country rarely have their back yards fenced... even in tight subdivisions. The most common reason they rarely fence in their yards is for dogs, not privacy.
