some punk ass stole a cooler off my deck last night. the bastard doesnt know lucky he is that i didnt catch him. I know ill never get it back nor do i really care, I got it free a few years ago. I did file a police report just to get it on file. It just pisses me off some punk came into my back yard and stole something of mine.

The ironic thing is, yesterday i was calling around getting quotes for a 6ft fence put up around my back yard, the quotes were from 2,000-2,300 bucks and I didnt want to shell out that much cash. Now i do. :|:|

Update: My wife just called and she noticed that the bastards stole the swings off my kids swing-set :|:|
 
That sucks dood. It's a lot of work but you could do it yourself too - my dad and I did about half of it a couple years back - the shittiest part was waiting for the concrete to dry for the posts - other than that, piece of cake. (With the exception of measuring for the posts)
 
maybe it was Mr/Mrs Citrix to convince you to get the fence...good deal IMO. Steal a Free cooler, get a 2000 dollar fence.

i feel you.

i went to school today and some loser stole my bike's front wheel. I look to the right and I only see front wheel of a bike.

guess he needed my front wheel to go with the other stolen bike
 
i hope you don't seriously think that a residental fence will keep some kids from stealing another cooler from your backyard if they want it. it will just make it somewhat harder from them to do. you should have probably just brought the cooler inside. but i know the feeling one gets when something is taken from them, so i'm sorry to hear....

Yea i know its not too hard, the hardest part is getting post lined up and looking good. I helped my neighbor do his fence and it looks like crap, quite a few post were out of line and not plum. I think to get the cost down ill just have the contractor set the post and my wife and I will do the rest. Putting up the board and pickets is not hard at all.

it wasnt a bad cooler had wheels on the back and a long handle to roll it behind you. i can get another and i have other coolers but its just the idea some punk stole it off my deck. I went to bed late and i thought i heard something outside then the ice maker dropped its load of ice and i figured that was it.

I had a chainsaw and a weed-eater stolen off of my front porch not too long ago. The chainsaw was borrowed from a friend, and the weed-eater was only a couple of months old. I only hope I never find out who took them.
 
They took the swings off your kids swingset?

WTF? Man, that's gettin' pretty low.
 
This is considered trespassing and burglary. Either file another police report or put something valueable in your backyard, set up a video camera and record it for about a week or so. The dirty FVCK will be back again. After you've done that and recorded the trepasser, give it to the cops.
