don't know why everyone is laughing at him. Installing hinges so the pins are outside is moronic unless you get NRP hinges. All someone would need to break in quickly and quietly is a screwdriver, pocketknife or other pointed instrument. At least if they have to break a window it will deter some thieves.
Partly the "unscrewed" bit.
But think about trying to remove the hinge pins with a screwdriver or pocketknife.
Better yet, try it at home and see for yourself; you'll get the idea.
