It's one thing to parody someone for something they did on their own and another to try and set someone up with a lie. Anybody can be fooled or should I say "punked"?

And you don't think someone heading up the u.s. needs to be able to handle shit out of left field?

Assuming you're a u.s. citizen, it doesn't sound like you have much respect for your country.

Oh go suck a rock. I respect this country as much if not more then you do. Obama could be punked just as easily so this incident doesn't prove sh1t withe the possible exceptiom of who has been drinking the most blue kool-aid.

So, you support the dumbing down of america?

The obama thing is speculation. The palin thing is fact. I don't see how anyone could possibly defend someone of palin's caliber as suitable for the highest office. It seems intellectually dishonest unless a person wants the world standing of the u.s. to diminish.

Critizing a Canadian comic's tactic from sticking his nose in our business is supporting the dumbing down of America??

Like I said, we can sure tell who is drinking the blue kool-aid.

Pitiful diversion attempt. I was referring to you defending palin - a national tragedy.

If you thought I was defending Palin then perhaps you should reread the thread.

I'm saying this stunt proved nothing one way or the other that I can see? Except who is getting their fill of the blue kool-aid?

If you think it did please explain it to me.

I listened to that episode while cringing the whole time.

That Sarah Palin could possibly be in command of the worlds most powerful military, depending on the health of a cancerous 72 year old - I just about pop a blood vessel contemplating this. If this childish hoax can in some small way prevent this from happening, its great. Maybe people will get some cultural perspective on how big of an insult Sarah Palin's inclusion in this campaign is. This dimwit is in the running for the second highest job in the land!

This prank clearly shows that she puts the "D" in DUMB. Granted her staff should have never allowed this to happen, but it didn't dawn on Palin that Sarkozy would have absolutely no reason what so ever to talk to her. She clearly didn't even bother to ask any questions, she just took the call at face value. That's scary for someone who claims to be ready to lead America.

This woman who rejects being educated, thinks it's okay to be ignorant about current events, people, anything that does not revolve around her tiny world in Alaska wants to lead our country? What she needs is a complete overhaul of her education, including courses in general and political ethics; removal of her provincial blinders; and an in-depth study of the Biblical principles that she professes to espouse. After those are accomplished, I'll give sympathy due consideration. Everyone should feel sorry for the American people who have been duped into following her.

Sounds like you don't think someone heading up the u.s. needs to be able to handle shit out of left field. If you don't think they should be able to, then we're done here.

You have yet to show me where this incident has proven she can't handle "shit from left field" and until you do you are only showing that you favor the blue kool-aid.

You got one thing right though, we're done here.

This is like a bad car wreck from which you can't look away. I'll make one last attempt.

If you had a girlfriend for whom you cared deeply and I wrote you a post saying you need to go check on her - she's been in a horrific accident, what would your first response be?
a) drop everything and search her out?
b) question who the fuck I am and why I would know this?

If your response is a), then you're a palin apologist.
If your response is b), then there's a chace you might be capable of leading the u.s.

Keep on building your strawman, it's almost finished. I'm still waiting for your proof of how this incident proves anything? Anybody can be punked and that's all this was.

For your info I'm undecided on who to vote for but am leaning towards Obama. Hell, I voted 3rd party in 2000 and for Kerry in 2004. At this point he only thing preventing me from voting for Obama is the extreme level of partisianship I see from his supporters. It seems many of the same idiots that were supporting Bush are now supporting Obama. We don't need to create another Frankenstein.

Oh, why don't you call Palin and see if you can talk to her.

But you're lining up to support the guy whose supporters yell "kill him", "terrorist", and "Arab" during his stump speeches?

If you aren't smart enough to figure out that candidates will govern by their policies, do us a favor and vote third-party. Obama and McCain don't need your pity vote.

I guess the word "undecided" is too big for you?

I don't think people like you understand that change is like a curve in the road. One guy can safely negotiate it at 120 mph and the next guy will crash at 80, some even slower then that.

Obama's supporters seem to think he is incapable of making mistakes and will blindly support him. They're like mirror images of the hard core Bush supporters and I find that disturbing.

If I knew that the GOP would hold on to all it's seats in the Senate I'd vote for Obama in a heart beat, because that would balance this rate of change. I don't see that happening though.

When I look at Obama what I see is a level headed but inexperienced man who wants to be elected our leader, but when I look at his supporters I see very few who consider what the potential pitfalls we have ahead of us are and I find that disconcerting.

Your generalizations are BS and not based on any real data. I've been an Obama supporter since the beginning, and I've posted numerous times that he's not perfect and has made mistakes, and seen other supporters say the same thing. When he supported telecom immunity for wiretapping, many liberals were mad about that. Somehow you cherrypick a few people that are extremely partisanship and apply that to everyone.

Meanwhile, the core of McCain's constituency are the 25% who still can't admit that Bush has done a bad job.

Not only are you wrong in your grouping of Obama's supporters, but you're blind to the fact there are going to blind partisans on both sides, even of independents like Ron Paul. Devout partisanship is not party or candidate specific, and not supporting a candidate because those people exist is a non-sensical reason to make a decision.

Very real, and very, very funny, and also very telling of how STUPID this idiot is. As are her handlers. I love how she giggled like a high schooler being elected prom queen when he mentioned 2012 and her being president.
She's a blathering, nutwad, idiot.
