Anti choice advocates love to argue about human-hood instead of person-hood but those 2 things are greatly differentiated.

For example, a brain dead human in a coma is a very different things than a brain functioning person in a coma. Which is why society is perfectly ok with terminating the "life" of a brain dead human.

Up until a certain point in time - and its past 24 weeks - a fetus has no cognitive capabilities for self-determination and consciousness.

In the first place, that's irrelevant - the value of human lives is not conditional.

Fetus viability is a moot point. There will be a future where a human can be grown in a lab, not hard to extend what we do today to that outcome.

Incorrect comparison. Miscarriages (horrible term) are not spontaneous and can involve pregnancy termination with expulsion of fetus/zygote.

He's saying humans have a fundamental right to bodily integrity and self-determination and that the rights of a fetus do not exceed's the mother's rights to those.
