Hmmm, giving away a non-rippable CD and asking LOTS of questions about downloading and burning MP3s. Makes me wonder if this isn't a RIAA sponsored website.

I'd advise that if you actually want the CD, you deny any knowledge of MP3s or CD burners!
 
Always worth a shot. I received a Shallow Hal CD two weeks ago, from a link I saw in this forum. Glad I didn't spend any $ on the Shallow Hal CD, as I didn't like it much.

It will be interestingto see if it is a "defect" cd, to my knowledge I have not ran into one yet...or at least they ripped fine.

I rarely listen to CDs anymore outside of a CD-ROM drive, and most often I just listen to music I encoded into OGGs
