funboy sad, I cant get them to take my Credit Card and it gots money on it :(
I wanted to get one of these and give it a try with a old 98 rig for the hell of it, anyone else having trouble getting it to take a debit credit card?

I used my debit. The shopping cart was kind of funky, but i finally got it to work after several attempts.

I just tried 3 more times, guess this deal was not meant to be, I just took the money and bought another $10 MP3 player I posted up, forgot another person this year, and that took care of it, so I suppose this was a sign not to let me buy this:eek:

I got this today and it appears to be dead. I checked Seagates site and the warranty expired 4, July 2008. Not worth an RMA really. :(

Got mine as well and have the same warranty staus. Can't test mine until I get home with my dslr. Plan to use this as an OS drive in an embedded board anyway.

EDIT: Just tested it in my Canon 20d. It said error, but telling the camera to format the drive fixed that. Snapped a couple of pictures, put it in my card reader and the files showed up.

Write times were pretty slow, but what do you expect when compared to 266x compact flash.

Got mine today, as soon as I get my IDe to CF adapter, I'll put it through it's paces!
