If you need it, can't do much better than free. :)

Edit: And there is 2% Live Cashback available (though you probably won't get anything if you order just the CF card).

Edit #2: Coupon code is in the banner when you click through. :)

Am I missing where the coupon code is? Also is it just me or does this also appears to be a microdrive too? If so it would be perfect for those CF SLRs such as a D70/s, D200 and up.

EDIT: FREE IS SWEET!!! :D

Doh!!!

$6.20 ground shipping

you can pretty mucj get 4gb for a little less than this and 8gb for a little more.

Its a Ok deal but I would just order a 16gb onsale for like $20.00 like they have been several times, or a 8gb for $10.00

keep in mind its a hard drive so its very likely it will fail and your pics will be unrecoverable

I'm using it for a HDD in an ITX system so it'll be fine.

Maybe, but last time I used a microdrive in my camera and did 60 mins of video, by the time it finished saving the battery ran out and the vid was corrupted. Not bad for free tho! :)

I have a dead CF microdrive in my desk. It was used in a DSLR for a couple of months before crapping out.

It seems like this would be a good option for a small linux server distro. You don't want to use regular CF because it will wear it out, but this is a real hard drive so that isn't an issue. However, I question the long term reliability of this... Hmm.

Think of it as 6.20 for the item and free shipping. The OP should've written Free + s/h in the title.

Did you happen to notice the "+ s/h" in the subtitle?

Edit: If you happen to buy anything else at Nowdirect, the shipping is diluted.

Sorry. I guess I was a bit blind at that moment.

Ordered one when it was posted. Going into an MSI Wind desktop barebones -- it has a CF slot on the mobo.

I used my debit. The shopping cart was kind of funky, but i finally got it to work after several attempts.
