Free radio sure does suck

Well my CD changer is acting up so I'm stuck listening to the radio these past few days. Geesh, nothing but dumb commericals and uninteresting DJs playing the same lousy songs over and over. This is exactly why I never listen to the radio.

Argh, gotta get my changer working again!:|
 
Yeah, it seems that all I ever hear on the radio is Green Day, Gwen Stefani or Maroon 5.

Damn that Hollerback Girl song!!!
 
clear channel sux. they killed the last good rock station in DC, replaced it with some spanish junk.

WHFS had been dead for years, they just put it out of its misery. And just for the record it was not Clear Channel, it was Infinity Broadcasting that killed it. They own the station and flipped it to spanish programming and transfered some of the personalities to other Infinity owned stations in the DC area.

WTH difference does it make? Infinity and Clear Channel are both tools of Satan, so technically they're the same company.

most radio does suck. I try to listen to the Jazz and classical stations but even those are geting large blocks of comericals. and everything else is the same.
Jack was cool here in the OC for a couple months. Can't seem to find it lately on the dial...

That's where talk radio comes in to save the day. I hate free radio stations that play their top 10 playlist over and over.

I switched over to a FM station the other day and I swear it was at least 5 minutes straight of nothing but commercials.

Yea..Jack and K-rock are the only stations I listen to here in NYC. Now I hear K-rock may turn to K-Talk??!! Whaa?? Why do I bother listening to the radio besides listening to sportstalk so I can bitch about my Mets.

I think the sacrifice is that they give you longer segments of their program at the price of longer commercials.
 
i love my local radio stations

between 96x, 100.3 the bear and sonic 102.9 there is something worth listening to 98% of the time. and there isn't much for commercials! and the DJs are funny!

it probably helps sonic 102.9 is a new station, so they try extra hard to be good...it works...
