Free Outpost.com t-shirt until 5:30 am EST

Outpost.com's site is currently down for maintenance until 5:30 am EST. If you call Outpost and place an order, they will send you an Outpost.com t-shirt as well. (Check out their site for details.) Deal ends when their maintenance is done.

I picked up a Kingston CD-RW for $0.95, as they require you to purchase something in order to get the shirt.

I just talked with the coolest CSR. When he asked how he could help me, I said that I needed an USB cable. He responded with "You're just trying to score a free t-shirt, aren't you?" 🙂 I got a 10ft USB cable for my new $45 Epson 860 printer and a t-shirt for $4.95 shipped.

I'm on hold right now 🙂 I think I need a CDRW tonight too!
Update: It's in the mail. I talked a CSR named Greg and told him I wanted a CDRW by Kington. He laughed and said "Your total comes to a whopping .95" 🙂 I told him to make sure and include the T-shirt 🙂

tell em you want a 4ft cat5 ethernet cable, i recall ordering one a few weeks back and it being like $3.60 delivered overnight.

still, i have more than enought cables and too many t-shirts... so ya'll go ahead...

I just talked to Greg too. He's cool. Unfortunately, there were out of the USB cable I wanted.
No. I did not need a disc... LOL.

edit: They are now back up online.

Update on this: I got my package today with my CDRW. Guess what? NO T-SHIRT! :| Instead they gave me a yellow yo-yo. That's great, but I can't wear a yo-yo 🙂 Should I call and complain? Did anyone actually get the free T-shirt? The CSR told me I would be receiving one.

I know it's outpost's idea to be in the cutthroat e-tailing business, but at the same time, it's not such a bad idea to support a company that gives you free overnight shipping. Support 'em with your dollars, and then think about the free tee shirt. Otherwise, all that will be left in a couple years is Amazon.com with undoubtedly higher prices.

Overnight shipping? Ha. The quickest they've ever shipped anything to me is 3 days! I'm still waiting on the USB cable...

I ordered 30 cdr's from them last week. Ordered around 6pm, they were at my door by noon the next day. maybe your cable is backordered.

All my Outpost orders were delivered the next day (1 or 2 a month). I sent them an email about the shirt and they said they'd ship it in 1-2 weeks. No complaints here.

I know this is getting a little off-topic, but Outpost completely rocks. Their next-day shipping is as good as it gets, especially since they deliver on Saturday's. And for lower-priced items (cables, USB hubs, CDRs) they have some of the best prices around.

Outpost.com definitely rocks. They are the quickest to ship I've seen. The other day I saw they had a nice pair o speakers for $29.95 and my fiancee needed them so at 11PM eastern we placed the order. Imagine our surprise when the Airborne guy shows up around 11am the next day with the speakers!

I see a lot of places advertising "next day shipping" but for most they take 2 days to a week to "process" your order and then maybe it finally ships. Outpost.com delivers.
