Outpost.com's site is currently down for maintenance until 5:30 am EST. If you call Outpost and place an order, they will send you an Outpost.com t-shirt as well. (Check out their site for details.) Deal ends when their maintenance is done.

I picked up a Kingston CD-RW for $0.95, as they require you to purchase something in order to get the shirt.

I just talked with the coolest CSR. When he asked how he could help me, I said that I needed an USB cable. He responded with "You're just trying to score a free t-shirt, aren't you?" :) I got a 10ft USB cable for my new $45 Epson 860 printer and a t-shirt for $4.95 shipped.

I'm on hold right now :) I think I need a CDRW tonight too!
Update: It's in the mail. I talked a CSR named Greg and told him I wanted a CDRW by Kington. He laughed and said "Your total comes to a whopping .95" :) I told him to make sure and include the T-shirt :)

No. I did not need a disc... LOL.

edit: They are now back up online.

Update on this: I got my package today with my CDRW. Guess what? NO T-SHIRT! :| Instead they gave me a yellow yo-yo. That's great, but I can't wear a yo-yo :) Should I call and complain? Did anyone actually get the free T-shirt? The CSR told me I would be receiving one.

I know it's outpost's idea to be in the cutthroat e-tailing business, but at the same time, it's not such a bad idea to support a company that gives you free overnight shipping. Support 'em with your dollars, and then think about the free tee shirt. Otherwise, all that will be left in a couple years is Amazon.com with undoubtedly higher prices.

Overnight shipping? Ha. The quickest they've ever shipped anything to me is 3 days! I'm still waiting on the USB cable...

All my Outpost orders were delivered the next day (1 or 2 a month). I sent them an email about the shirt and they said they'd ship it in 1-2 weeks. No complaints here.

I know this is getting a little off-topic, but Outpost completely rocks. Their next-day shipping is as good as it gets, especially since they deliver on Saturday's. And for lower-priced items (cables, USB hubs, CDRs) they have some of the best prices around.

Outpost.com definitely rocks. They are the quickest to ship I've seen. The other day I saw they had a nice pair o speakers for $29.95 and my fiancee needed them so at 11PM eastern we placed the order. Imagine our surprise when the Airborne guy shows up around 11am the next day with the speakers!

I see a lot of places advertising "next day shipping" but for most they take 2 days to a week to "process" your order and then maybe it finally ships. Outpost.com delivers.
