Activation is working for me now.

I had no trouble activating last night.

After removal of the 2007 Beta, you do have to re-install 2003 but it does not harm the 2003 data files, my Outlook 2003 works fine and has all the old data.

lol...you think they would let you keep the beta to a $500 piece of software for free?

You think they are letting use this for FREE?

This does WONDERS to your registry. Unless you Ghost your hard drives and want to see what 2007 looks like. IMO, It's not worth it to download and install a huge program just to uninstall 6 months down the road. M$ programs big and clunky never seem to uninstall correctly. I think youd risking hosing your machine to uninstall and install these programs.

Re-installing it with a different CD Key did nothing. I've got 38 more times to use it before I run into problems

My activation wasn't working until just recently too. Keep trying. If you're on a laptop, try connecting to another internet connection.

I never got my e-mail with the keys even though they said they sent it, yes the address was correct.

Guess I am 0-2 with M$ free crap, this and the USB that never was.

You don't need the email. When you select the products you want to download, it presents you with a page that has the product keys and download links. I know it says it also emailed you the keys, but I never got that email either. In any case, the page presented to you has the keys.

Anyone having issues with the auto-preview reading pane? All new messages I am getting now do not show up in the preview pane at all, while all the old messages I had are still fine...

I think lot of people (like me) are still hesitant to install O 2007 because they might loose their present installation of Office!

It's not an upgrade. It's a stand-alone app. I have several components of 2003 still installed along side 2007.

My outlook also had strange issues. I deleted my mail profile(s) and recreated them. Everything was fine afterwards.
