It's a MLM scam; the only thing you can be sure of, is that you'll get it... in the end.

Haha..tell uh how it works out after your credit report is demolished...

how would my credit report get demolished? the trial offers are for big name companies...not some 2 day operation in a basement somewhere...like i said, i talked to people who have already done this, and gotten their ipods. i know it sounds too good to be true, but so far you guys havent really shown any reasonable evidence as to why one shouldnt do this (other than "its too good to be true"). not trying to start a flame war here, im still debating whether or not to do it, but from what ive seen, it seems alright.

Actually, I would believe this website, FreeIPods.com is run by the same company (Gratis Networks) who runs FreeVideoGames.com, FreeDVDs.com, FreeCDs.com, FreeGiftPlanet.com, and FreeCondoms.com. I decided to give a run at FreeVideoGames.com to see if I could get a PS2. I completed my round of offers, accumulated enough points, placed the order for my PS2 and recieved it a week later. All in all, after cancelling the 10+ plans I signed up for, I only spent about $20 dollars total and had a bunch of free gift cards to random places.

FreeIPods.com should hold its end of the deal as well since its run by the same company, just get 5 different email address (of which you'd be 'referring'), sign up on a random offer (not the DVD club cause that'll cost you in the long run) like the AOL broadband which requires no credit card, keep track of the different names, address, and which email they go with. After a few days of verification I don't see any problem with you recieveing your new iPod or iPod-Mini.

I'm not affiliated with Gratis in anyway, I was skeptical at first until I read some other peoples experiences at CheapAssGamer.com and tried it out for myself. Got a brand new version 10 Playstation 2 (retailed for $179.99 at the time) for around $20. An awesome deal, great for eBaying even, will hog alot of your time to call and cancel the services but its still saved me a good $150.

Don't bash on it so fast, do some research =)

So pretty much this site is a MLM scam type deal. Uh, why isn't this thread locked yet? I'm kinda tired of seeing it re-emerge over and over again. Mod?

I have to concur with this guy. I received an XBox from freevideogames.com, but only after being obsessive-compulsive about the trial offers I signed up for over a period of months. By the end of it I'd paid maybe $35 for my XBox, with no problems cancelling any of the offers. (except for trying to get the AOL support staff to understand f%$#ing English)

Gratis Network doesn't appear to be the typical scam site most of these places turn out to be. They're actually offering real stuff (as far as I can tell) but in order to get it you really need to be on the ball.

Unfortunately this is still a Pyramid Scheme variant, A.K.A. a Multi-Level Marketing deal. And knowing Gratis they'll track who's credit card/other info is used to sign up for the offers on the refferal accounts, so you can't work around the "reffer a friend" part either. (at least not easily)

So bottom line: likely legit, but it's still a f%$#ing Pyramid Scheme.

P.S. Please note that unlike everyone else who's posted support for this site I don't have an account I signed up for last week. ;)
