This may be a very good DVD, but I haven't seen it, so I can't comment on it. I can say, that if you really want to learn just about all there is to know about the do's and dont's of business attire, the holy grail of sources is Thomas Malloy's book titled "Dress for Success." You can get the updated version (80's) as well, which may be a bit more up to date, but the basic advice from even the initial book (published in the 60's I believe) is still valid. Mr. Malloy did quite a bit of research and testing on the psychological reactions to different attire, and from my own anecdotal testing, I'd say his research pans out. If you are in or will soon enter the corporate arena, I'd highly recommend picking up a copy of his book.

Great info! And thanks to OP!!

THANK YOU

Thank you for your interest in Men's Wearhouse.

thanks for the link op

haha, my DVD came today. It kind of looks like a flipper...either that or they used Nero to make it with high compression 🙂 Watching it now in Power DVD 6. Not too bad, I think I've learned more about Suits 101 in this video than I've learned in my whole life!

Oh, and there's also an animated how-to-tie-a-tie tutorial on their website here.

That was a pretty good DVD, thanks OP!

I learned a trick from a friend for buying clothes (which I hate doing) - always take a girl along with you. They have a much better fashion sense than most guys and they actually enjoy shopping.
