Free briefcase w/ $25 order from Office Depot

scsiguru is just trying to be helpful (and I enjoyed the linkified link he did).

what's wrong with linking it, anyways?

People are under the (correct) impression that linking to a website allows the linked web site to see where people are coming from. What people are getting wrong is that the linked to website can tell where people are coming from whether people click a link OR they type it in to a browser. So either way they can track ya 🙂

you dont even have to click on the link icon, just look at the property and type the address then i think they can't really track you

Thanks Jim, nice post. I've been looking for a briefcase. Now this is perfect for me. I can buy something else that's cool, and get a briefcase too!

Tho I don't understand the link question also. Oh well.

I had some trouble getting the free briefcase since it didn't add itself to my shopping cart like it said it would, even though my order was well over $25. When I received my order and found no briefcase, I just called their customer support and explained the situation. They were kind enough to have the free breifcase sent to me next day.

Nice deal. Thx Jim! 🙂

good afternoon, is there a way to stack the coupons for office depot? I found a $15 off $50 and was wondering if I can use both. thanks in advance.

If you can, then this can go well with that 12-pack pepsi deal 🙂

<< i didnt link it for a very good reason. Perhaps you should respect that? >>

Okay, idiot...so why don't you enlighten us and tell us that "very good reason" why you didn't link it?

I'm curious too...

<< has anyone got this briefcase yet? is it any good? >>

I got a briefcase from a similar offer. Its kinda cheap feel to it, but if you don't really care about the quality or appearance, its ok. It does what it needs to do.

I got this exact case (from Staples for free, IIRC). I think it is pretty decent; I ended up giving away a similar item I spent $30 for, and keeping the free one.

Their webserver keeps track of
Where you came from
Where you went when you left
Even if you type the url in they should be able to check your cookies to see where you came from - at least I think that is what they do

Only if you have your security settings pertaining to cookies set that way.

Don't dis the bag, folks, it looks pretty nice -- I just got mine right now. I wouldn't really call it a briefcase (aren't they supposed have a hard shell?), but it would make a very nice bag for a teacher or student. I will even consider it as a decent airplane-carry-on / tourist bag, as it has a solid shoulder strap. So I conclude that it is in fact a hot deal! 🙂

Edit: grammar
