Received my welcome kit today. No gift card. It went from coming 7-10 days after the switch to AT&T, to coming with the welcome kit, to coming two to three weeks after the welcome kit. :disgust:

I just called to ask why my gift card had not arrived yet and was told it would be 6 months. WTF? I was told by some "Cuban sounding" lady that they have to see 6 months of calls before they will send the card. How come others are getting their cards right away? I think she is just screwed up and will wait another couple weeks to see if the card comes. I sit here with my fingers crossed patiently waiting.

Got mine today, guest the chick did not know what she was talking about.

Hmmmmm. They had me re-sign back up yesterday to make sure all went thru, wonder what the chances are that's I'll get another gift card? Not holding my breath.

already used most fo the card to by a XP1600 and heatsink/fan combo from newegg. What a way to get a free CPU.

I just wanted to add that you should still be able to get at least $20 Amazon certificates with this deal. I got $25 using the link in one of the above posts. That was over a week ago though. But I got my first AT&T bill and it had an insert that said you could get $20 by going to www.att.com/pennies. Try that too.

Also, for those who are gonna stay with AT&T a while, don't forget to sign up for one of their rewards programs. I signed up for the Continental OnePass program. I get 5000 miles plus another 1000 for each month I stay with AT&T (6 months max). They have two other rewards programs to choose from also.

The switching fee will be credited to your AT&T account in two billing cycles.

I called up again to ask where my gift card is (3rd phone callsince I signed up). All previous phone calls stated that I should recveive my card shortly(7-10 days). They transferred me two times to different levels of management and then they denied my giftcard because I couldn't give them a promotional code. All this after I signed up on the 16th in response to the $75 giftcard promotion. Any of you people have this happen to you???? Does anyone have any suggestions??????

I just called and switched my local toll and long distance service from Sprint to AT&T, I never use traditional long service anyways (since BigZoo.com has the best rates and features).

Question, how long do I have to wait before I can sign up for AT&T online billing to get the free $25 Amazon GC? Can I do it now, tomorrow, after I have been switched (7 days) or after I receive my welcome packet (3 weeks)?

Just in case I confirmed with the rep that I will receive a free $75 MasterCard debit card in 4 weeks, I opted for the no monthly fee plan which offers 15 cents/min long distance, he was a little puzzled why I did that, hehe. He knew nothing about the Amazon GC which is ok since I sign up for that online. I also wrote down the date, time, the number I called, his first name, his last name AND the city/state where he's located in case I don't receive my MC debit card.

When you call them, give them the extension that is listed in the 1st post. That is really not an extension that they transfer you to. It is simply a code that the operator puts in the computer and tells them which promotion you are calling them about. That should work.....If not, post again, and let us know.
