Yeah, but she'll have to declare bankruptcy due to her medical bills from the pain and suffering from the slap.

Now, you know why the Republicans went bat shit crazy trying to defeat him. He's a very bright guy with a wicked sense of humor and sarcasm to make a point.

I love the debate he had with O'Reilly. That'll never happen again in a million years. Bill's still hurting over that one.

O'Reilly's no match for anyone with a conscience and half a brain. Still, it would be fun to see Franken and Jon Stewart double team him in a live session. Maybe we could get Stephen Colbert to help on O'Reilly's team.

You would think by now that various lobbyists would have learned their lessons. The same bullshit arguments that go over gangbusters with teabagger types will not fly for two millicseconds of congressional testimony.

Not when a reasonably bright Senator examines the bullshit and unerringly gets to the heart of their FUD.

No sensationalism needed, no insults needed, they will get hanged by their own bullshit. Open mouth, insert foot. its what those lobbyists deserve and we need more of the same from more Senators than just Franken.

Ahh... strong the jealousy is in this one. :p

No, "failed" is your lame attempt to dismiss Franken for both his past success and his present excellent performance as a Senator, for which he is very well paid and for which he receives excellent PUBLICLY FUNDED health care.

On your best day, ever, you can only wish you were as "washed up" as he is.

What, may I ask, do you do for living that's so much better than being a Senator?

I said it before and I'll keep saying it again...
As one who followed Al on his AirAmerica radio show, I soon discovered he was
some way smart politician.
Al Franken is a very savvy smart politician... who just happens to have a sense of humor.
You need to get the details in the correct order.
He is not a would-be actor or comedian, that wanted to be a senator.
He is a smart political genius, first, "with" a sense of humor, second.

I love it how so many wrote off Franken from the start, because? They did not know his skills. Now they know...

You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means.

Its always great to see these loonbag lefties jump on how "awesome" Stuart Smalley is before he actually accomplishes anything.

Guess just so long as you can diss your opposition or slam fox news then that must be enough to equal amazing performance.

to be a bit fair, he's the one asking all the questions, so things are a bit stacked in his favor :p

but yeah, he totally owned her. she should have just said "no" instead of "no but i can find out for you"

that just made it worse on her, hehe.

BUHAHAHAHAhahahahaha!!!!!

If you're talking about Franken, he's not a geezer. If you're talking about me, you really don't know your ass from that hole you keep digging for yourself. I'm just a kid of 68. I'm 6'2", standing tall at 183 lbs of lean with my full head of rock 'n' roll length hair. I just got back from my physical, a couple of hours ago, and the doc says I'm in great shape.

We all have only the age we're given. I'll take my geezerhood as it is and be glad that, other than my siblings who share the genetic good fortune, I'm in better shape than the majority of people I know anywhere near my age.

If that was the best insult you can manage, go home and practice, little boy. :p
