QFT Nothing upsets a progressive more than an opinion being expressed that is not progressive agenda-approved. Hell, much of the left gets its news primarily from The Daily Show.

It's a darned good thing you aren't a high enough life form to understand irony, otherwise posting a BLOG from a competing network to "prove" how FoxNews isn't fair and balanced you surely cause your head to explode.

And somebody'd have to clean that shit up.

Thank you for pointing out that the one who DIDN'T storm off the stage like a child denied a second lolly is actually the drama queen. Please see the above comment on irony.

Good point. So may I assume that your not nitpicking the remainder of my post means you agree with everything else I commented on? :D

Just checked. Now Sheppard Smith, next Neil Cavuto, next Glenn Beck, next Bret Baier.
Last I looked it was daytime.

Yes and they do present some news during those shows. Duh!!

No, they provide propagandized news. Which is exactly my point.

It's no coincidence the Russian newspaper of the Communist Party was called Pravda, which means "Truth"
Fox News's slogan is also the BIG LIE. Of course its not Fair and Balanced.

The problems is millions of Americans believe that Fox is presenting them a Fair And Balanced news source. Despite the facts that are so overwhelming that its not. It's not a coincidence that over 40 percent of Americans believed Saddam Hussein was behind 9-11 at the time of Bushes second election. Fox NEWS was the primary NEWS source for the majority of them.

These poor, deluded souls are currently running around saying Obama and the Dems want to turn the country "socialist". Because they are unaware that many of the things they are doing, is what has been done in America for hundreds of years, like roads, sewers, water supplies, and some for over 70 years like banking regulation.

The saddest part is that the things these victims of the propaganda want, a better economy, banking stability, jobs, etc they HAD under the system that we had that has worked fantastically well since the 1930's. Yet, they can't even begin to fathom that the NEWS they are hearing is designed to get them to go away from that into a system that has spectactulary failed, like banking deregulation when it was tried in the 1980's and in the 2000's.

This is all just one big waste of time. Truth, logic, and facts aren't going to shake the faith true believers have in the church of Fox News.

Let me get this straight.

It was founded by someone who is proud to say he is a conservative.

The "news" director is someone who is proud to say he is a conservative, and was Richard Nixon's campaign director.

Every single host is someone who is proud to say he is a conservative.

Three of the failed candidates for the Republican nomination in 2008 have shows on Fox. And, of course, all are proud to say they are conservatives.

Just checking the fair and balanced, well, balance.

I'm still surprised they use Fair and Balanced when they don't even try to hide their bias.

Which one of CNN's primetime shows is propaganda?

The one's he doesn't agree with.

The shows he *does* agree with are, of course, Fair and Balanced.

...I still vote for "Whichever Network's Newscasters have the Nicest Racks"

Well, actually, when you really think about it, Fox "News" IS fair and balanced because their agenda favors the full political spectrum: both conservative AND neocon.

See? The whole ball of wax right there fella's.

Just checking the fair and balanced, well, balance.

And the other news outlets are ? Media had a major liberal bias before FOXnews broke trough.

I honestly admire the american newsstations. They've accepted the inevitable conclusion that you can't make totally neutral tv, and dropped all pretense and now focus on catering to a demograph.
Left wing? GO to MSNBC or huffington. Right-wing? Go to foxnews

All of their prime time shows have a leftist bias.

Can you post a clip demonstrating leftist bias?

It seems to me that even the prime time commentary show hosts consider themselves to be reporters of the news first and foremost. The closest to a political shill was Lou Dobbs and he was a conservative.

So anyone who exposes the lies, disinformation and deceptive language that Fox belches out 24/7 is a leftist?

I'd call that honest upright factual journalism devoid of bias.

I think the very problem is that selective news are trounced up and chosen while the reporters are actually actors reacting with disgust or unadultered joy to them.

Some news are withheld and some are pushed beyond the local level to make a point too.

I guess you are cool with that, but don't fucking call it news because it's not, it's opinon bucketed and broadcasted for your pleasure.

I really don't know much about other US news but i can tell you that just because BBC is big on science doesn't mean that they are a Labour channel far from it, they actually have news that are presented as they are.

One day, perhaps the US will catch up to the free world?
