Stewart's video of him watching Hannity's admission of error is pretty hilarious too:

This is why I can't stand Stewart. He does the same thing for the left that Hannity does for the right, but when he takes heat he falls back on being just a comedian. If you're going to be a hack, at least admit you're presenting an advocacy viewpoint. Meanwhile a very large number of young people watch him assuming he is presenting news.

The same audience that was deemed by studies to be the most informed of all audiences when it comes to current events and news. Coincidence???

You mean outright lying to persue your advocacy?

Spidey and I agree on virtually nothing, but I can agree with him on this. What's the point of having a political forum if you're just going to put everyone who disagrees with your position on "Ignore"? If everyone follows this lead, we're going to have nothing but self-indulgent intellectual masturbation threads with every poster in the thread posting "me too!"s and toeing whatever party line they're inclined to parrot. What fun that will be. We can have an official liberal thread and an official conservative thread and everyone can go have their circle jerk in their corresponding thread with no worry about having to see opinions you don't agree with!

Progress...

I've thrown certain posters on the ignore list, but not for one time violations. If you've been here for years though you have a pretty good idea of who is a blatant attention whoring troll who
1) never concedes they were wrong in anything even when objective facts showing this to be the case are brought to their attention;
2) makes illogical/nonsensical arguments and demonstrates an inability to understand valid logical arguments;
3) is proudly and openly bigoted or racist
4) fails to be amusing/funny in doing any of the above.

I find spidey occasionally quite amusing, so he stays. I just don't take anything he says seriously.

I have to say though, that having put the people who qualify on the ignore list has greatly enhanced by P&N experience. I compare it to a spam filter.
