Pers run away from the carnage being brought by the radical Moslemin Iran to find better live in US, and now he critizes the US as they to liberate a country which experiencing the same terror and oppresion he fled from......
Anyway, its just another great point of this country where people can do that without fear of being thrown to jail. I just hope the same thing will happen to Afganisthan and Iraq, but its somewhat doubtful if the radical moslem is not rooted from there.

oh, and may i request you stop using smiley faces? they're almost as irritating as your posts

Who "cut" the lines? Hmmmm......
rolleye.gif

Yeah
rolleye.gif
we're "punishing" the Iraqi people....yeah that's the ticket:confused:

I can maybe understand your hatred of the US because of our past transgressions dealing with Iran but sir I do believe you stated that you are Iranian-American, right? Then may I ask why you came here if we are such a "bad" people? Hmmmm....

CkG

My hatred of the US? Just because i see injustice in this war does not mean i hate this country!

don't make assumptions...i know you feel obligated to support this war just to demonstrate your patriotism -- we call your type the public mass --

i dn't share the same desire to be the American CheerLEader,...i do apologize.

Well i'm a Christian -- IRanian. And due to the fact that America kind of screwed IRan by placing the Shah there in the first place..

i believe it must pay its dues and allow me to stay here... *grin*

I'm not asking you to be a cheerleader - and I stated that I could understand your hatred. OK so hatred was possibly a wrong term but I interpreted your bashing the leader of this country ( your country - my country) and accusing it of playing games as hatred. So if I may I will retract the "hatred" and inplace put "disgust" :)

Need a beer?:D

And no I don't "feel obligated to support this war just to demonstrate your patriotism" I support this war because a ruthless tyrant has been destroying a county - a people for too long. It is time for him to go.

CkG

i honestly pray to god that there were more people like yourself..

but in reality..there aren't

and the people executing this war don't have your same intentions...

sorry buddy

Ah but you don't know Bush's intentions...you sir look though glasses fogged by paranoia. Presiden Bush WILL stay true to his words and help build a better Iraq by Liberating it from a tyant and then protecting it (this time ;) ) from others who wish to destroy it until the time comes that Iraq can stand on it's own free legs.

I know you think the above is just rhetoric and whatnot but I believe Bush's intentions are real because I have faith in <gasp> God that Bush is a man of his word.

you guys know what , pers is right.

Here are a few of my points:

1. Bush basically says he wanna "Free Iraq people"

but why he favors Iraq? I mean come on guys, every one knows many Africa countries dies ten times more people because bad government.

the conclusion is "oil"

2. About chemical weapon: Iraq might or might not have those type weapons, but America government seems to be certain they do have those weapons without

any valid proofs. Why America government are so certain?

My conclusion is : During Iran and Iraq war , America secretly support Iraq weapons. America might also provide some chemical weapons to Iraq as well since they never once

in their mind thought Iraq might use those weapons to US. lets face it, America government sometimes do nasty stuff without telling their people

3. Bush is idiot.

proof: now there are hundred times more people willing to do suicide attack against America because the unjusitify war ( i thought this is war against terroism not increasing

terroism)

Our economy will go to rock bottom(72 billions is just begining and in the history of America, that initial budget is never enough, why Pussies, no i mean Bush is thinking)?

pre-emptive attack to Iraq(so we attack them first before they attack us) . You know what? During World war II that 's the speech Hitler give to his German people why they

have to attack Russia. Pre-emptive attack can never be justified.

here are my few cents.

bzzzt wrong. The answer is WMD, I haven't heard of any African nations besides South Africa and Egypt possesing said items.

Umm, I haven't seen any American officials deny the provision of weapons in the EIGHTIES to Iraq. After Iraq was defeated in the Gulfwar they were required to destroy the WMD. They didn't it doesn't matter who may have intially started their stock piles.

People who are willing to homicide bomb are missing a few screws. I wouldn't base any opinions on them. Even Muslic clerics of the non-extremism slant agree they are not going to heaven for the deeds.

The CNN article is from the next day once more information was learned. And, I quote:

Interior Minister Abdolvahed Moussavi Lari said examinations indicated that the missile, which landed in the western region of Sardasht, was made by Iraq.

Uh.. that article you listed itself mentions three cruise missiles landed in Iran..

"..mentions three cruise missiles MAY HAVE landed in Iran..."

Meanwhile, U.S. State Department officials said they had told Iran they were looking into another incident in which three Tomahawk missiles fired by the U.S. might have missed their intended target Friday, and possibly landed in southwestern Iran.

Hardly a fact...might .... possibly.

Just like all the rest of the anti-war crowd you demand proof? Why?

You will do nothing but refute it anyway.

The "It's for the oil" excuse is pathetic as well.

Think about it if it was for oil why not just say screw the tree huggers and start drilling in Alaska?

Bush is an idiot

That pretty much sums up your whole stance anyway. For you it"s not about if the war is right or wrong just the fact that you don't like the president, and don't agree with his views and the views of his administration.

So come back when you have something other than the same old tired song and dance that the dems have been recycling since the first desert storm.

Sweet, cheap gas! If more people you love die does gas get even cheaper? I sure hope so. It's still too expensive.

Don't mistake indifference for ignorance. They are completely different animals.

Would it be fair to say that, even before this war, most in the Middle East would be at least indifferent about my (as an American) life, safety, etc?
They have better things to do? Good, so do I. I will worry about the war when the bombs drop on someone I know. Until then, I will pass by the petrol station every morning and notice with some sense of satisfaction that the price is dropping.

My complaint about the war is TOO much restraint is being shown. One life of someone I know or care about is worth more than 10,000 lives of those I don't.
The same goes for you too Pers. Afterall, you are here now, during this war, expressing your frustrations at the danger people you love are in yet I would be willing to bet you've never shown the same concerns (or made the same amount of posts) about the hundreds of thousands murdered in Rwanda in the 90s during the worst genocide campaign since WWII. You do not care for them because they are not your people. Do not feel bad, I do not care for them either. I do not care about anyone in the Middle East either. Sorry, I care more about cheaper gas because it affects my life far more directly than the well being of your family does.

I am simply telling you what MANY, MANY people feel. Although, the vast majority of those who feel this way would never be able to admit it even to themselves let alone anyone else. A lot of these people must maintain thier pseudo sense of compassion because it makes them feel better... although it usually is shallow, empty and hollow. If one REALLY cares about the Iraqi people right now they could AT THE VERY LEAST donate a substantial portion of thier income to assist in humanitarian efforts.
However, when it comes time for 'compassionate' people to back up thier feelings with actions and/or funds a great deal of these people are suddenly missing.

I enjoy my sociopathy. At least it's honest. Ahhhhh sweet liberation!
The chorus of bombs and petrol prices dropping in symphony is music to my ears.

Then again I could be lying in order to cover up painful guilt over the horrible deaths of innocents in the criminal action undertaken by my country.

No - it's just too many false or half-truths to deal with in one thread - especially in a thread talking about a downed Blackhawk.

<-knows he participated in the sideshow that erupted in this thread:eek:

If you want to discuss this, start a new topic . . . it won't get the attention you want here and it has very little to do with the topic in discussion. ;)

Hello MR. GrandDragon of the KKK

i apologize for asking for you sympathy as i assumed you were human, and had a conscience.

i mean -- was it not the americans who were "terrorized" more than a year ago?

and did these same "arrogant" Americans seek sympathy from the ENTIRE world -- no matter

how much they realized these countries hated them (For good reason-- ie. palestine -- i mean israeli occupied Palestinians)

anyway. you realize what this war is about yet you still advocate it.

that's horrible...but hey -- you're just the typical mullet sporting redneck -- you just aren't ashamed of being a little honest

with yourself... i guess i would admire that if i didn't want you castrated...

You assumed too much. My conscience, whatever little there is, is easily silenced.

Yes, of course, I realise what this war is all about: Pax Americana. And you know what? I am glad.
The Middle East is a cesspool of religious fanaticism and dictatorships. No one cared until it bit us on the ass.
Heck, we even used a few of them for our own strategic interests.
Now, the situation has started to turn on us so we must put it down like a diseased animal.
It's simple really.

This is the jungle (and it IS a jungle). The strongest survive. Don't ever forget that.

Might does indeed equal right no matter how many fairytales you read that try to teach you otherwise.
Simply look at the history of our species. Might has always equaled right. History is always written by the winners.

You can rest assured knowing that the Pentagon, CIA, NSA, and US foreign policy makers are filled with people just like me
who know what needs to be done to secure US/Western dominance and can do the job dispassionately and thoroughly. I know I rest easy with that knowledge.
Sure, the goverment spin doctors will tell the population it's all about 'saving the poor Iraqi people' (thats merely a pleasent side effect) but this is just
so everyone can sleep soundly at night so they can be at work the next morning on time to continue turning the cogs of this massive machine, the United States,
that dominates the world economically and militarily.

BTW, mulleted redneck? :) Not quite. I don't even live in the US anymore. It's a little too uptight for my tastes. I now live in another Coalition country, Australia. :)

Godspeed to the Coalition.
