I ordered mine last night with release day delivery and was worried that Amazon wouldn't get it to me in time. Leave them to get me my shipping notice at 12:45 AM. It's already out for delivery 😀 (although UPS usually doesn't hit here until 5 PM or later).
 
I pre-ordered at best buy because I had some gift certificates....still haven't gotten an e-mail saying its been shipped or received my dlc with the extra cars -_-
 
I pre-ordered from Gamestop.com because I had some credit there and Amazon was out of the LCE. Unfortunately I couldn't pre-order online for pickup at a store, so I now have to wait for delivery. Shipped yesterday by USPS, and no way to tell how soon it will arrive. In future I will stick to Amazon.
 
Picked up my wheel and associated goodies from UPS this morning! LCE getting delivered to work today, but if it gets delayed in the mailroom I have a backup regular edition preorder at best buy.

i WILL be playing the game tonight, dammit!

I toyed with going out and buying the standard game, but was concerned there might be an issue with installing the LCE content later. Is it definitely the case this won't be a problem?

I do not know for the life of my why Microsoft/Turn10 have aligned with this company.

I believe because the demand/margin for a wheel setup is so low that that this is merely a pet project for them and they are throwing Fanatec a bone.

I still refuse to purchase anything from them as I've heard way too many stories of people getting burned by them even though I'd really love one of those wheels.

Usually the LCE is just a code that you put in that comes with the LCE box and the game discs are identical.

Speak of the devil.. or Fanatec is spying on me here. I just got an e-mail from them saying it'll ship soon.

I can tell you that already. The second disk is optional with I think six packs of cars that takes up 2.8GB of space.

The first disk weighs in at 7.6 GB.
 
I'll be checking Fry's in a bit to see if they have the LCE.. otherwise I'll be content with the standard edition I guess.
 
I reserved the standard edition from Best Buy and when I went in this morning they had 2 LCE's not spoken for so I grabbed one. Saw the other go literally while I was checking out.

Might be worth it to call around and see if anyone has one left in stock.
 
So excited(and frustrated with the stupid plastic wrapper, moreso) that I ripped half the front plastic cover off the case. I hate that plastic wrap, this stuff seemed more sticky than usual.
It only gave me $60K and 8-ish cars(not ones from my Forza 3 garage) for importing my level 50 profile with lots of money and cars. So you don't get much of a bonus, I guess.

Can't believe the graphics, especially in the AutoVista thing. Man, its like you're there!

Thanks Queasy! I was hoping after I backed up my 60gb pro to several flash drives for the 22gb Rage install I'd still have enough room for the full FM4 install. Maybe the garages won't crash your game if you aren't HD installed this version.
