i can think of four new ones of the top of my head: hockenheim ring, bernese alps, top gear track, and indy speedway. i think that's it for new tracks.
not sure if any FM3 tracks were removed though.

Yep. All of the old tracks are still there (updated with the new lighting engine and other changes) plus 4 new ones.
pretty cool game but some things are sure are broken in the same. I started a new game with a Ford Ka. After leveling the car up some, i got 100% discount on ford performance parts. I was able to max out the car for pretty much for free. After doing a few events, I won a 65 Ford Mustang. My 100% discount for ford performance parts stills applies to this car as well. I was able to buy of it parts for free as well

Yeah, the Manufacturer Affinity discount maxes out at 100% on level 5 and just gives bonus credits after that.

seriously? free upgrades across an entire manufacturer after leveling up one car?
well that sure as heck will make it easier for people to make rides for wednesday races. welcome change as far as I'm concerned.

That's not broken; that's a "feature" that has been discussed in previews for quite some time. Granted, it does make it seem like it's going to completely disrupt the money system, since winning a few races means free upgrades for an entire manufacturer and not just that car... I think I would prefer it the Forza 3 way where you can earn discounts up to 50%, but not completely free. That said, it also frees up more money to invest in better cars, so I probably won't be too upset.
Better take advantage while you can; if enough people complain, maybe they'll patch it in the future to limit the discount.

Looks like the LCE is selling for $110+ on eBay - you might want to do that instead.

Kind of killing myself for canceling my LCE pre-order that I got for $60 on Amazon now.
Damn that's crazy! I should have bought both and put them on Ebay. I'd have been fine keeping the standard version and making $100.
I am kind of ticked Best Buy didn't give me my 1M pre-order code. I'm going out later so I may swing by and see if they can do something about it.

me either. I pre-ordered Friday, picked it up today and tried to play...didn't get the code in my e-mail or anything so I called back and the basic consensus was "tough luck"

Sell the Amazon copy? Its the standard edition. Although I'm somewhat tempted to pick up more LCE copies from Fry's now!

On the early levels in the world tour, every race at least one AI driver just goes into a corner way too hot and flies off track. Kind of funny to watch.
Here's the skinny. Went to BB since I was out earlier. They are supposed to scan a sku into the system that puts a code on your receipt. Then they send a confirmation by email with the code. So I brought in my receipt and they added it on for me. Pretty hassle free, but some of the employees don't know about it.

Also, for those of you that have not raced the Top Gear test track in GT5, forget everything you think you know about the track. It will kick your ass.

Thats a stupid bug, wow! That sucks for now no doubt.
I got 60K too, must just be a flat reward for playing FM3 I guess.
Still finding the AI in this one pretty easy. Just using stock cars, as I don't want to upgrade anything until I max out my affinity. But with max difficulty(minus the manual clutch), this dynamic AI isn't particularily good. Kind of what I was scared of with Forza 4, more of the same time trials racing where the rest of the pack is in my dust. Hate to see what happens if I upgrade the cars. Guess its time to get online with you guys!

Haven't had a chance to actually play it yet; booted up, did all the various import profile stuff, downloaded the various car packs and redeemed the codes, installed the Disc 2 content.... and that all pretty much took the better part of an hour, at which point, the household was clamoring to watch Jeopardy. I only got 40,000 credits on the import, but I was only at Level 30 (my Level 50 profile was deleted a while back). Still got my Ferraris, the ZR1, the Gallardo and the Veyron (plus a few others), so not too bad all in all.
So, when I've had a chance to actually do a race that isn't the first one (which I won very easily, stupid driving assists), I'll give some more impressions. One thing I can attest to already; the graphics are absolutely stunning.
