Oh, we thought you were joking, you were being serious? :p

You posted it pretty late, alot of people probably haven't even seen your previous post yet. Looks good, I'll give it a whirl when I can.

Yea, I was serials! We've had B and A and S the last couple of weeks. I also think its good to run lower class cars to remember how to go around a track sometimes. The higher class cars can just overwhelm a track with power, but it takes a smooth operator to get a good lap out of a lower end car. Should be good racing unless I completely screwed the pooch on the tune.

Yes, you are hereby banished. Or something like that.

What is that RX-7's PI stock?

I think it was F, but can't remember. It was sad. I wanted to do a Front/Front car but I knew OSJ would kill me. :)

Force a rule where OSJ must drive an A class New Beetle, he told me the other day he loves that car.

Hmmm....Beetle....yess.....

Hey I'm all for F->C class rides. I love the tin cans that turn into a nice little go-karts :)

I had originally set it up with no aero package, but wanted to slow the car down some and make it more stable in the corners.

Nice, I'll give it a run when I get home. It's gonna be nice to drive a slower car for a change.

Is this tune with/without ABS?

I always use ABS so I tune for it. Its at 104% on brake pressure. If you need that changed I'll toss up another one for you non ABSers.

One thing I noticed with the car last night was that when downshifting in the corner, the rear end likes to come around. I'll try to iron that out but keep it in mind for now when testing it out.

I've noticed that too much rear sway bar can make the rear end squirrely in turns. Famous also once suggested playing with the diff settings for something like this.

I think it's a large gear ratio change from the previous gear which causes the wheels to lock up. My NSX and RX8 do this, I could never figure it out. 2nd gear is useless unless you're braking in a straight line...

I'll start there, but I've never had any problems with the rear sway being too tight. Who knows in this crazy game though! :D

waldo can you send me the tune? im still banned...

I don't deal with crooks! ():)

Yea, I'll send it to ya.

This is the most likely cause, its going from 3rd to 2nd that I notice it the most.

Firebird posted that several days ago.

For those who are missing some of the DLC's, a number are going on sale soon next week starting Monday:

• AutoWeek Car Show Pack, 240 Microsoft Points
• Hot Holidays Car Pack, 240 Microsoft Points
• Jalopnik Car Pack, 240 Microsoft Points
• Nürburgring GP Track Pack, 240 Microsoft Points
• The Road & Track Car Pack, 240 Microsoft Points

Downloaded your tune last night Waldo, that car is stellar. Extremely composed through the corners, neutral steering, it's a winner for sure!

But $1000 for the tune? You drive a hard bargin, someone's looking to get rich slowly!

I didn't even realize I had put it up for $1000. You guys will have to shell out the big bucks for this tune!

I've gotten a couple of positive reports about the car so unless I hear something disastrous about it by tonight I will leave it as-is.

Famous, I sent the tune to you so hope you got it.

From the little I've used it I don't think you need to fix anything, it's one of the better cars I've got. Cheap too ($6K car + $1K tune + $65K parts IIRC).
