It's definitely a premium to buy the car packs, as I don't use *all* the cars and I imagine most won't either. But for me, part of the experience is driving some of the sweet ass cars like the GT-R, Aston One-77 (mega-letdown, at least stock), and of course the ZR1 in the VIP pack.

What helps justify it for me is the discounted MS points I got a month ago ;)

That dude is one baddass tap dancer.

Seriously, that footwork is ridiculous. His downshifts are practically a blur.

Well, I got in 30 mins of practice last night. We'll see how it goes tonight. Tried my hand at self-tuning again, except this time the car was bass ackwards. Understeer on these cars is sad but the rear grip is insane. Will try to get in a few more laps tonight but tracks like Maple Valley will destroy me unless I can iron it out.

I haven't yet tuned a car. I know this is whussy but I was lacking the inspiration to tune an "S" class Porsche...back in FM2 "S" class was my favorite, now anything above "A" just seems like too much.

I'll get it done though!

I posted this earlier for people, but this is the spreadsheet I use to get my base tune and then apply individual tweaks. It works pretty well. It does go for softer settings, but you can firm those up automatically with a % multiplier that you'll see in the lower-right corner.

Disclaimer: I didn't make the spreadsheet ;)

Awesome. I will look into it. I've been using an Android app for my base tunes then tweaking and adjusting from there. I've been tweaking a whole lot the last couple of cars though so it could be complete crap.

I think I tried that and didn't like the results it gave me. Though I could've had an older version.

the tuning spreadsheet was almost always understeer for me.
Indeed it does - it's really setup for the more average/novice driver, so the car doesn't get away from them. On some cars it comes out pretty neutral, going to understeer at the limits. On others, it needs more tweaking to be more neutral. Which is why you still need to know something about tuning if you're going to use it, IMO.

Good racing last night. Sorry I didn't stay long, I decided that since firebird was going to race tonight someone had to fill his "15 mins of racing" shoes! :p

Apparently after you pulled a "me" ;) the group was full up anyway. I was ready a bit before 10 but the room was bustling like a night club

I assumed you were watching Netflix like you were every week and told them to invite Soviet Thug (who I'd invited earlier and then the room filled up).

Sorry you didn't make it in...but I won't begin to complain about having a full room!!! :D

Too bad I didn't get to run my ZR1. I had that at max weight removal with max downforce. I ended up running a regular race on that super huge twisty mountain track in a series of S-class heats. Damn that was fun!

For future reference if the room is full and you want to join in send a message to a few people, when we used to have more than 8 we'd rotate in and out.

It is momentum week! Do you have it and can you keep it? Car is a 1990 Mazda Savannah RX-7. C class. The build is posted on my Storefront. Search atot if you can't find it. I will be updating the build if I find issues and will post here when/if I do. Enjoy!

Any glaring problems please speak up.
