B class FF in forza 3 runs D class time in Forza 2. But it drives like the stupid turboed civic that I had in that civic vs vw night.

my suggestion is to avoid ALL turbo, short wheelbase, and lighter cars, unless it's on a short non bumpy track.

i know that i will be using 2 cars, even through one of them performs relatively well on both long and short tracks.

blowfish, the girl's suspended indefinitely now, maybe you can catch her on WWF or something?

Hell no! If ANY of players acted like that they would never see a field in my league again.

That is complete CRAP! This was definitely the talk at all the games on Sat and Sun as no one could believe how blatant this girl was with the foul play. Horrible sportsmanship. My guess is someone on some team somewhere will take this girl out on the field for this as payback.

If you're talking about Elizabeth Lambert from New Meexico, she was suspended or banned indefinitely from the team by her coach a day or two after the incident.

Mountain West Conference Response

University of New Mexico head women's soccer coach Kit Vela announced today that junior defender Elizabeth Lambert has been suspended indefinitely for her actions in Thursday's match against BYU in the semifinals of the Mountain West Conference Championship in Provo, Utah.

Effective immediately, Lambert is prohibited from participating in all team practices, competition and conditioning activities.

"I am deeply and wholeheartedly regretful for my actions," said Lambert. "My actions were uncalled for. I let my emotions get the best of me in a heated situation. I take full responsibility for my actions and accept any punishment felt necessary from the coaching staff and UNM administration. This is in no way indicative of my character or the soccer player that I am. I am sorry to my coaches and teammates for any and all damages I have brought upon them. I am especially sorry to BYU and the BYU women's soccer players that were personally affected by my actions. I have the utmost respect for the BYU women's soccer program and its players."

"Liz is a quality student-athlete, but in this instance her actions clearly crossed the line of fair play and good sportsmanship," said Vela.

"Liz's conduct on the field against BYU was completely inappropriate," said UNM Vice President for Athletics Paul Krebs. "There is no way to defend her actions."

So who all is going to be mainly playing MW2 rather than FM3 during the week (other than Wednesday night, I hope)

I won't because I preordered from Amazon and chose the free shipping option, meaning I won't get the game until Saturday or Monday (took me until the Monday after release to get Forza).

I made a sweet SRT-4 but looks like I wont make it to the races; got some people coming into town and we are going out that evening. FamousWings can rejoice that our connections wont fight each other.

I'm still planning on being there tonight. I guess that means I'll only get 4th or 5th place instead of 8th!

Think I'll use the Mugen Integra tune I bought.

Oh, and I got my first leaderboard time on one of the Fujimi Kaido sections (not the whole thing). Top 600 in a Honda Fit+, F200 class. It's hard to do a "clean lap" in career mode when barely touching a rumble strip will remove your time, and so will allowing another car to draft you. That's kind of ridiculous.

But man, little FWD cars are amazing for that track. I did way better in the Fit than in the Trueno. Better turn-in, more stable exiting turns, and it's easier to launch too. Of course it looks ridiculous with the huge wing in the back, but on that track, the more downforce, the better.

is that uphill or downhill? RWD usually do very bad uphill unless you give it a very wide rear wheel. but FWD's understeer at corner exit usually kills A LOT of time.

It was a downhill section. I just did it during the main season play. The game hasn't given me an uphill section of Fujimi yet.

I managed to eliminate most of the understeer on the Fit by tuning the suspension. Gave it a little toe-out, more negative camber, and softer front and harder rear springs and anti-roll bars. Also used the maximum possible downforce and reduced the ride height slightly. Better brakes also help a lot with those tracks since you're on the brakes so much.

Just realized an actual problem with the storefront. For whatever reason, when you're filtering your results, the price range you're allowed to filter is pointless. You can either choose "Affordable" or any number 1,000cr and up, in 1,000cr increments. There's no option to only show free items. There are no symbols to indicate the range of prices (you don't know if setting it to 5,000cr means exactly that amount or up to that amount). And you can set the filter price to anything despite their being a 10,000cr cap on how much you can sell things for!

It just seems stupid that they messed that up so badly. Sometimes I just want to see what's available for free. Other times not. You can't filter tuning setups by drivetrain, only by make and model.

Don't think I'm going to make it tonight. My wife typically has choir practice on Wednesday nights but she's taking the night off (and watching Glee at the moment).
