the second to last turn before the straight downhill section and occasionally the final turn (directly after the downhill straight) are where i flip with overly stiff cars [because of the rumble strips].

turn one is probably the most foolproof turn on the track. just remember to brake for the entry.

My problem with the car yesterday was that for the final turn coming onto the straightaway I wasn't turning in quickly enough so I'd run wide into the grass. I believe we did 5 laps on Maple Valley and I only took the turn correctly once. Other than that the car seemed to run pretty well on most of the track.

Pfft, what do you care what the car level rewards are...abandoner!! 🙁🙁🙁

I haven't abandoned it, just on hold for the time being. Still trying to contribute to the thread at least.

ATM don't really have the time to put into doing single player to get $, than spend that $ and more time to get a car ready for the whole 30 mins or so that I'd be there.

Although I'm looking forward to seeing how a maxed out Dodge SRT10 works as a cat for cat & mouse.

my unconventional car is getting a D class time in forza 2, i remember the fiat 500 was about that too, but if you can remember what time we got in our races, more power to you =P

So fill me in what is the car/class for this week.

I expect to be back full time now since Soccer is over. Work will be the only thing in the way now.

LMK

Thanks

Greg

next wednesday will be last one off before my schedule changes.

i'm hoping i can tune my pink yaris up to compete. :awe:

WooHoo I got my first top 1000 time! Amalfi coast stage A of the E class point to point race! 988 out of 66k+ players!

gratz quik!. kinda bummer to me that they seems to not record multiplayer time to the scoreboard anymore, is that true?

is anyone having trouble building a FF 500 that isn't a complete turd?

i've got lots of marvelously handling AWD and RWD cars, and can generally make anything handle pretty decent if not great. but i can't build a FWD with any kind of power without horrid understeer on corner exits- and i just refuse to have to wait until my wheels are totally straight to put the power on, it kills any chance of a smooth exit. even a RWD R class with no TC is easier to exit turns with.

Grats Quik!

Also, I think you joined a room I was in last night and was kicked. I'm sorry, I was away when he was asking if anyone knew you and you didn't have a mic 🙁

I've tried both the Focus RS and the Seat Leon Supercup, and both were pretty decent.

I also purchased a tuning setup for the Honda Mugen Integra... B500 class, FF (no drivetrain swap). Haven't tried it yet but I may use it for the races on Wednesday.

I have to say, the ability to buy tuning setups from the storefront and therefore not have to swap a million little parts in and out on my own and then tweak the whole tune is very nice. I am NOT capable of actually tuning a car in Forza. In FM2 I always just used the calculator, and in FM3 I've been just leaving them completely stock except for occasionally changing the final drive ratio or downforce.

That's why you gotta mix it up. B500 is a high class to be running with an FF configuration. Takes more skill. The Seat Leon SC is a great choice, made one of those, but I will probably make another one, just not sure which one yet.

Hell no! If ANY of players acted like that they would never see a field in my league again.

That is complete CRAP! This was definitely the talk at all the games on Sat and Sun as no one could believe how blatant this girl was with the foul play. Horrible sportsmanship. My guess is someone on some team somewhere will take this girl out on the field for this as payback.
