Sorry, I got back from vacation at 3 AM this morning, haven't really given it much thought.

We're doing STi's vs. Evo's this week, I can't believe we haven't done it yet. I'll keep it simple, no other rules than A class.
 
i got evo 6 tune built. it probably won't take many leaderboard position but it's easy to stay in it's sweet spot. turn 10 won't let me upload for some reason, i will try again tomorrow.
 
Question

If you had a choice between more engine upgrades vs aero which would you choose and why? For A class specifically. I guess another way I could ask is, would you put Aero on STI or EVO?
 
i have areo on mine but with minimum downforce. i think it depends on your driving style and how consistent you are, u will need to be a lot more consistent and confident without areo. what i can say for sure from what i've learn in the evo 6 is that if you have tire compound upgrade, then i will suggest you get areo, it will let u drive both inside and outside of the track and can stay competitive longer. otherwise u will lose a lot of time when your race compound loses grip.

Thats basically the gist of my question because I noticed in maple around the sweepers I was losing a little grip while turning. What I don't know is whether that was ok, since the faster upgrade can make up for that lost time. I'll try an aero tune and see.

you said minimum downforce, what do you consider to be minimum? Slider all the way to the left? Isn't that less than what the default is?
 
yes i slided mine all the way to the left. i find the car very neutral and managable and i stayed with it. not sure how much better it will become if it's in the middle.

I still drop in and read what's going on, but yeah here lately it's around 9 - 10 before I get any game time. Work has been picking up. Ended up working last wkend, came in on Sun at 6am and got off at 2am on Mon.

Not sure if anyone else likes it but there is a new season of Bullrun running on the Speed channel.
 
I'll be back in about 3 weeks. This tax season has been absolutely hell. I have been on the 360 but its typically late at night and I just don't have the drive to setup and practice a car so I just goo for something I can pick up and play for a bit with no reall effort ie MW2, BC etc.

Also soccer season started last week and I am coaching 2 teams (like a fool but hey its for my kids) so my plate is more than full.

Don't count me out though.

I have a little one due in End May/Beginning of June. My play time is running out for a bit. Anyway I'll go with B class Hot Hatch night. Everything else is fair game.

Famous starts with a 30 second penalty each race.
