I won't finish 1 race and most likely no one else will as it will look like C&M if I am using the controller. I suck with it on this game.

Do this, everyone test the cars and if there's mass problems with the build I'll either modify the restrictions or just change it to something simple like R3/4's.

Mine was $50 @ ToysRUS, but I know some of the same places that sell the Bearing mod kits for the MS Wheel also sell replacement control boards and such. ya might want to check that Greg... other wise we are one down for the Enduro as well. I'd ship you mine to use but it would cost us a ton of $$$ sending it back and forth.

Were you closer I'd say you could borrow mine, but I hate to think about how much it costs to ship that thing. Mine works perfectly though and is sitting in my closet.

I think I am covered, I'll still be missing this week though.

Thanks fellas!

BTW in the Enduro voting It's a tie vote.

I will leave voting open until 5pm EST today to get this tie broken.

Thread jack for quick question from my fellow racers.

We have a meeting with a rep for the home builder tomorrow. During the meeting we will be at the house going through it and pointing out any problems we see so they can get them taken care of before we close. I was wondering if any of you guys may know of something that I should be looking for?

Well if you can, get a home inspector. There are sooo many different things to look for that could be wrong in a house. I know its a new home, but check to see if you can bring one, they know local codes top to bottom.

I concur. I've seen shows on HGTV and TLC and the like and I would say always get a home inspection done, even if it's for a new home. I think they're only a couple hundred bucks and I'd rather pay that and not need it than not pay it and have something not built correctly come back to bite me down the road.

I'd like to race with you guys tonight if you have room for me. I was big into Forza2 for a while but kinda fell off as it seemed that no one played outside of private groups. It seemed the only big public games were 100 lap "drift" sessions which is pointless imo.

My gamertag is Pariah66. Let me know if you'd let me tag along! :)

Got mine ready :). Only a couple seconds slower than my A850 cars. Did a 1:27 on Road Atlanta and a 1:57 on Mugello with very minimal tweaking. I think I will be able to cut a few more seconds off of that tonight before the race :)

I've got two cars that I'm happy with handling wise now. I just need to take some time tonight to tune the gearing.

Great! I'll probably use the 67 stingray. Is Kabob hosting tonight? I will friend request whoever is hosting and worry about the rest of you later.

This may be a noob question but what is a "rocket car"? Isn't that a glitch?

Hopeless and Blowfish are out tonight (I think), so it will likely be either me or Kabob hosting, I would expect. He sometimes runs late so I would probably guess that I'll host to start at least. I may have to duck out a bit early tonight.

A rocket car has all power upgrades and no handling. When you had a ton of power to a car that has no handling the PI won't go much higher after a certain point b/c forza knows it can't go around a track, even if it can go 200mph in a straight line. A couple examples I have are a 1,000hp barracuda and a 600hp CRX. They're both b or c class I can't remember.

Ah, ok that makes sense. I was aware of that but not that it was referred to as a "rocket car" :p. No worries, I tend to do handling/weight improvements before I even touch the engine components. The cars are less frustrating that way :)

I haven't had the time to make any of the cars off the list. If someone has one I could borrow I might be able to pop in for a few races tonight.

Yeah, I may run late. I was hoping to build a car and tune it last night but my wife wanted to watch The Office on Netflix so I didn't get any time at all on Forza. Heck, in the last two weeks or so I think I've actually "played" Xbox for 2 hours, while we've watch 2 1/2 seasons of The Office...(yes, we're geeks).

Hopefully I'll be on tonight, can't promise. I blame part of it on this So You Think You Can Dance show that my wife has to watch...on the "big TV."
