I could get into live but couldn't get into any lobbies earlier in the day as well, even on games other then Forza excapt i could get into EA's Gamernet. I ended up going to a film festival to watch my friend's movie premier. I'm down for next week though.

My pick will be a A850 Fairlady Z night. No matter whether it is next week or the following week

And yes I am serious.

No teams, no C&M, regular racing. We will be doing a 10 lapper at MV and RA as well as 2 laps at the ring.

All other races will be whatever we decide at the time.


Just waiting to hear if RPD is picking for 7/1/09 or not.

Either way you will need this car for 7/1/09 or 7/8/09.

And yes I am fully aware that OSJ may end up running away with every race but I this is a good solid car and feel like a challenge!
 
I think it's still your connection famous.

Your connection seems to have a ton of issues lately, last night being the absolute worst ever.

FYI the Fairlady has an AWD swap in the parts section which makes it a better car IMHO.

i was in a public game last night with the 05 subie and wasn't crashing, i think it's the solstice. let me try to crash (pun) a few public games tonight and see.

so the 69 Z with 4wd?

I just know that OSJ has this as his fav car and I would agree that it is a good one.

But ANY Fairlady Z is fine.

edit: damn this z car is good, a bit more of practice and it can break into 1:50 at mugello

pps: it's so good that i feel like im cheating now. i hope my network dont crap out next week.
 
FYI I spent about 30 mins running laps this w/e. Only ran on RA and I was 1:22s/1:23s for most laps. There are definitely 1:21s in the car perhaps even a HIGH 1:20 if I run perfect.

I dunno since I haven't run MV. I would imagine with this car I should be able to do better than 1:28 there.
 
I've been gone for several days and just got on the forum for the first time only to see that tomorrow's pick is A850 Fairlady Z. I instantly thought to myself "Looks like OSJ's week" only to be surprised to realize that it was Blowfish. Umm...are you crazy man? 😛
 
Nope. It's a solid car to drive. It's also a fun car to drive and I felt like challenging myself. I'll most likely get my ass handed to me on a silver platter but hey I won't get any better if I don't challenge myself.

Don't you have the same build / tune that OSJ likes so much?
 
Nope.

He has never shared the build and tune to the best of my knowledge.

I have a solid build myself that I am very, very comfortable in but it may not have enough top end speed. If memory serves OSJ is hitting 1:21s on RA in his Fairlady so I am close.
 
i saw there's a few lancer evo 6 TME at the AH that is being sold by turn 10, anyone know what's the deal with those?
 
I'm up in the air as well. Potentially (hopefully) I'll have something arrive that's being shipped in that I'll have to go pick up, if not and my wife will let me have the "big TV" (where the 360 is) I'll join in. Either way I may join in, my car's already built and such.
 
I'll be slapping a car together at the last second tonight but I should be there unless my wife hijacks me for something.
