Oh it's nothing to be sad about. I'll still be racing, but (like others) after racing as much as I have with yous guys it can burn ya out a little bit. It happens to everyone eventually. I'm not a complete casualty though.

We'll just have to call your wife and have her hide all your other games so the only one sitting there will be Forza. 😛

Boo!!!

Just remember, Porsche included in racing night = me there (ok, not really, I just like the fake blackmail).

I don't know if I'll be on tonight or not. I planned on testing and tuning Monday. All I managed to get done was to put some parts on the old goat but didn't even get it to B700. Haven't even looked at the newer one.

If I can I might just finish up the old one and cross my fingers that it turns out ok.

I won't be able to play tonight. Ivan, I'll send your BMW back to you soon, I don't feel right keeping it even though you told me to 🙂. I'm scared to tell you guys this, but playing Forza 2 last week has really only aroused my hunger for GT5. Even though Forza 2 currently offers a breadth of content and customizability over GT5P, I'm still immensely drawn to the latter. It just feels better in my hands.

You don't have to run unless Forza just isn't any fun for you. The more the merrier.

peritusONE, it's ok, if you think of racing again, I can build you another car =)

OSJ, I had opened some ports (I forgotten which, there' a preset on mine already for XBL) on my router in hoping that can solve our connectivity issue, can you check to see if you can do the same? Maybe we can try it out before next week to see if that can resolve the problem.

Famous: What ports did you open? I can try opening things but they need to be forwarded to my 360, which I doubt has a static IP. How did you handle that?

Hopeless: I've got a couple ideas. I've built one of them and I'm going to try to build the other today and see how I like them. I'll try to post (and update the OP) sometime today with the pick.

Your setup is probably different. I've got tomato running on both my routers. On the one wired to the modem I used DHCP to assign IPs than went to the device list and made it static for the xbox. I've also got UPnP enabled so hopefully I don't have to keep up with what ports it's wanting.

OSJ, I will go look it up and give you a more detail description, it's just simple port forwarding. so far I am just picking the xbox from a list of computers connected to my router and then choose the game as XBL and the config will be applied. Like hopeless says I might need to set it at DHCP to give it a more static IP but I haven't done so yet, because the assigned IP doesn't seem to change often for my router.

You know, we're about to the same place in this thread as we were in the last one, about time to make Forza thread #3?

Before the console gaming forum was created, the console gaming thread in OT grew to well over 3,000 posts. It would slow to a crawl trying to open that thread up.
