Darn right I came down on the track, look at Mr. Sex-on-Wheels progression from ls2-ls4. I didn't want that slutty car rubbing on mine. :p

In hindsight, I should have tried not giving ground and kept him pinned to the right wall. I figured he was coming down on me sooner rather than later and I thought I had room to my left. So I owe you one, blowfish.

No worries, mate!

WALDO - I see why this car is so tough on you, look at the TQ/HP curves. From what I've watched of your driving you like consistent/flat torque. The curve on this car can REALLY bring the diff into the equation. I know I shouldn't be giving you any advice as you utterly kill me, but look there.

Yes, I believe it is AVON tires. the first ones that show up after the race tire selection.

Ha, nice series... I didn't realize how involved I was there. I remember thinking that if I held my inside lane that I was going to T-bone Spidey, but if I cut to the outside at my current speed I would lose control. I didn't factor in you guys behind me, so I tried to brake as I swerved left which is where I obviously cut you off while going at a much slower speed.

Maybe I would have been able to brake harder/longer and buy more time before I got to Spidey's roadblock and swerved left after you guys had passed. It looks like Waldo had the best lane... figures. :p

I think that was Spidey. I didn't get a good look at his car Wednesday night, but that's what I figured through process of elimination.

Thanks fellas. That explains why I didn't see it before since he only used it for a few races.

I don't have a replay of that race but I think I brought up the rear on that one, too, and got through clean. Anyone able to verify just for my own curiosity?

I think he was referring to my off-roading escapades in your Laguna Seca pics. :) I think I brought up the rear in that race.

Heh. Remember when we were racing and someone asked, "Waldo, do you ever make a mistake?"

Waldo replied something like, "Sure I do."

The difference is that our mistakes are running off the track into the dirt or into a wall. Waldo's idea of a mistake is "Dang, I was .01 degrees off the perfect angle on that turn."

Skinnee I believe you did get through this one because as I recall I was chasing Waldo after this for about 10 seconds until he just pulled away from me with ease and I believe I remembered seeing you in my rear view for a bit before you passed me.

I may be wrong but that does sound familiar to me

Nah, I meant at Maple Valley. In pics 1-5 you can see NSA & Spidey setting up their roadblock. Blortov losing control a bit and going wide. Me cutting off Blowfish and Queasy trying to avoid it. Then there's you (and probably OSJ behind us) making it through as clean as you were on the starting line.

Ahh, my mistake. I always lose track of what we're talking about.

Yea, that was an interesting first turn. I started in last and exited the corner way out in front. I think every car got hit except for mine. Pure luck!

I think I came away clean, too. I guess starting in the back has its advantages *high five*

Oh, just out of curiosity, has anyone purchased the Road America track that's listed for 100MS points on the marketplace? I haven't bought any of the cars/tracks, but I thought for $1.25 I might give it a shot. Do the new tracks open up any new career events or are they strictly for exhibitions/online races?

I have all of the DLC Except this month's car pack. Road America is an awesome track but it does not add any events. If everyone spent the $5 for Motegi and Road America we could have some new race tracks. :)

We could and that was my initial thought when I saw there was a track for only $1.25, but after I mulled it over, I really think we'd be segregating the group too much.

There may be some of us that don't have points in reserve and would have to buy a pricer card just to spend the 100 points. It appears that the cheapest card on Amazon is the 1600 pointer for $20. I love our Forza night and I'd rather not risk alienating anyone by suggesting we should commit to something that could turn out to have a $20 buy-in.

Personally, I may buy it anyway and maybe we can do it as an end-of-the-night type deal so it doesn't disturb the flow for everyone else.

Heh, that would be awesome, but you use MS Points where 80 points = $1.

The Road America track I asked about is 100pts and there's another (Motegi) that is 400pts with some additional cars thrown in.

MS Points.

I have Road America already, for 100 pts, why not? However, as much as I wanted more new tracks (Twin Ring), the fact that Road America wasn't integrated into the Career mode in any way stopped me from purchasing Twin Ring when it was released.

If we decide to add both tracks to our gaming nights, though, I'm fine with picking it up.

Hell I can spring the $5. I done spent the money on the setup might as well pay for some track lovin' goodness for Wednesday night races.

FYI -- I will get the tracks regardless so please do not anyone feel that they HAVE to get them to be part of Wed night races.

So what can I tune to keep this thing on the road.

My a$$ keeps going out from under me. I know its the way I drive but I need to adjust this to stick to the road a little better for me. I know I will probably sacrifice some top end speed but I need to be able to stay on the road to race.

LMK

Thanks

Greg
