Yep tonight was a lot of fun. My WRX STi didn't do half bad, managed to place pretty well overall. Btw for those of you wondering what spidey brought he brought milk and cookies ;)

Apparently, I was Guuts' stand-in tonight. :p

Lots of fun though. I'll get the paint job poll up later once Waldo takes pics of his sex on wheels that was in a Burkha for every one else.

Get knocked around, spun out, relegated to the back of the pack, did ya Queasy?

Well, well, well... one less person that'll be knocking me around next week, I'd say!

Where were you, sentimental favorite?

I couldn't handle my car for anything. About three races in I abandoned my custom tuning and just went back to the default and that seemed to help a bit but I was all over the place. Shame.

It was clear to me and it's in my replays. I would have grabbed pics myself if I had realized the problem was so widespread. Sorry.

I know there was some confusion when I was trying to explain it on the mic, but how it works is you have to download any DLC car first and then ALL DLC cars will magically become viewable during the races. I've never paid for a DLC car, but I've downloaded the free ones (there are some on the Marketplace) and I was able to see Waldo's car fine.

I don't know why it works like that, it seems screwy. You'd think they could offer a mandatory patch that could fix it for everyone without having to download a car. But since some are free, you guys might as well grab them before next week, anyway.

Yeah, sorry, I had a dentist appointment, and was in some pain tonight... didn't really feel up to it.

Sorry about your car, CK. Which one were you driving, the Audi again?

Nah, I tried a Lotus Elise 135R because it showed up on quite a few of the lap time leaderboards.

It was fun tonight, but it's hard to tell if my lousy driving or terrible tuning were more to blame for my troubles. I certainly understand wanting to break up the monotony of stock races, but I sure look forward to being competitive again next week in a Waldo car. :p

Yep good stuff last night folks. For once I was competitive and I thank Waldo for that. Damn near got second on nurburing but lost on the last turn.

I liked racing with the different cars as a change, an every week thing probably not but certainly once in a while would be good.

Waldo -- what if we all ran with the Intergra I was using last night?? Handles great and has some decent speed, just not the barn burners you guys had.

One last thing which way do we go LEFT or RIGHT??

Hey guys, there is a free Nisssan car pack on XBL Marketplace. I didn't realize my car wouldn't show up or I would've picked a different one. Nonetheless, I'll get a pic of my car up tonight. I don't think it has burka though. :)

I had a lot of fun, but the difference in braking and handling was rough for me. I could take corners like a mad man and it got me into trouble sometimes. I ran into CK a few times, and Queasy, and some others. Sorry about that guys! I really do enjoy the "stock" races more. Someone else should suggest the car and class this week though. I will tune it and all that jazz. Just let me know!

Another Quality A-Class or should we go back down to B??

Like I said I liked the Integra I was using last night a lot.

Yea, somehow I managed to tune that Integra spot on with very little effort. Would be a fun car to race with. Only problem is it costs an arm and a leg (91k I think if not in Asia) Any other suggestions?

I'm okay with pretty much whatever. I prefer the "stock" cars, as well, I think. I managed to wrangle my Ferrari in the end but I was literally still undecided on what car I was going to go with until 8:15 last night when I finally decided to just go with it and if it goes poorly, at least I'll go out with a bang. In the end, it actually became quite the nice car that provided some great battles with Waldo and his R8. The R8 corners better but the F430 opened up some ground on the straights. Had some constant see-sawing action going on.

That said, I do prefer the stock cars and knowing what the capabilities of the car are. I rear-ended Waldo at Suzuka because I overestimated the ability of my car to break compared to his and got into him after 130R. Luckily it was just a little lovetap.

As for next week, I liked what I saw of the Exige that Blortov was running. I wouldn't mind going with a car along those lines. Slow it down a little and make it about handling, like the Talon was. Those Talon races were good and close.

Integra -- if we go this way I am happy to gift one to someone since Waldo gifted it to me. I have 100K in credits so this is possible for me to do to get someone in the game.

I agree Blortov's car seem to do well. Sometimes I was able to wrangle him in but other times he just pulled away with ease.

Oh it's nice to see I am not banned this AM considering I destroyed Quesy at least twice out there ... oops!

Stock races are good because it is more about the driving then the car but haulin' a$$ in the R1 series was cool too but I just couldn't keep that SOB on the track.

Honestly I wouldn't mind doing maybe a 2 lapper on nurburing. It's a real endurance challenge and I wouldn't have minded an extra lap on that track to see if I could get back in 2nd place. Also as crazy as those snake tracks are I kinda like'em.

What about doing another high end class A but pulling out something like the talon or mustang for a race or 2 just to change things up like we did with the R1s last night??

One question on the Integra ... I noticed you pretty maxed out the upgrades on everything but the engine (or was it the trans) which would have given more power. Any particular reason?? Did it hurt the handling too much??

I believe I already own an Integra and I'm willing to buy/gift up to two more if people don't have the funds so that we can use it next week. I've got about 800,000 credits just sitting in my bank from my single player experience.

Also, I wanted to thank whoever started saying "Congrats" when I mentioned my new job. About 2 seconds after I brought it up I got disconnected so I missed everything after that. So I'm sorry that I didn't get to respond immediately and thank you.

Hey Guys!

I would definitely like to join in...feel free to send a friend request. I've never played anything on XBL except poker - so I'm totally new at Forza online.

My gamertag is: ajskydiver

Thanks!

(I'll be looking for deals on Gold subscriptions since mine ran out some time ago...pm if you know of any, please!)

What do you mean slow it down a little? I was maxing out at 151 mph on the ring.

Buy.com had a deal for the 12 month (actually 13 months since it comes with 1 month free) for $38.75 shipped. If you sign up for google checkout you can get another $10 off of that as well.

This deal was on as of last week. Not sure about today.

Heh, you mean that track where we weren't going to wreck? ;)

151 is a good top-end speed for the majority of the tracks. The exceptions being that oval we ran on, New York and Sunset.

I think the Integra would be fun. It will cost people probably 150k to get it to work though.

Maybe drop to B class. I never got a good gauge to what my Ferrari would do on the Ring, unfortunately, since I got a disc read error long before the straight.

I'm not even sure I have the car, actually. Didn't you say it was one you had to win? Don't suppose you by chance remember how to win it?

Win the Integra Cup. :) Manufacturer's Club Racing or something like that.

Aren't there two Integras you can win? I have two and I'm pretty sure I haven't bought one... the VIS Integra is one of my favorite cars (you've seen me run it quite a few times), and I think I also have another, plain-looking one, maybe a Mugen?

Either way, I have a ton of credits, be happy to donate some cars if people are low on cash.

P.S. Spidey check your PMs.

Wait, you get the Exige by winning the Integra Cup? *boggle* I'll check those out when I get home. I'm sure it won't be too hard.

The car is the Exige Cup 240, you have to win the Factory Spec Exige Races which means you have to be able to purchase the regular Exige. I dont remember what you need to do to be able to purchase the regular Exige, but I think it cost about 65000.

For simplicity's sake, we should just run the regular Exige or Elise (waldo tuned of course)
