Well, if your car is anything like the car he sent me you'll be in for an awesome surprise! I was amazed at the handling capability of my Supra. It hit the straight aways with poise and speed all while approaching the gear limited top speed.
I received Arby's car around 6:30 EST last night. I setup the steering wheel and quickly jumped into Forza as I was excited to see what his Tuning Holiness had presented me. My first race was Road Atlanta against the A Class computers setup on hardest difficulty with all security blankets off. My typical affair really. I glanced over the tuning to see exactly what he had given me. Front springs - lowest setting, rear springs - highest setting. Same for front/rear rebound, front/rear anti-roll bar. One whale of an interesting setup. So I started the race and floored it casually as I expected to just leave the other cars and beat them to the first corner. 1st gear, awesome start! No wheel spin. Redline seems to come in a split second. 2nd gear! Holy crap, this car has loads of power. 3rd gear! Same story, 4th, 5th, 6th gear only a quarter of the way down the straight away. Unbelievable. I've never seen a car do this. Ever.
Approaching 76 MPH in 6th I noticed something strange. My car had so much power it wanted to
crab walk down the track. It was all I could do to wrangle it in and keep it on the pavement. The front tires wanted to turn the car right but in a large disagreement akin to two siblings fighting, the rear wanted to go left. I checked the rearview to see where my opponents were but they weren't there! So this car crab walking down the straight away of Road Atlanta had started off so fast that the other cars had disappeared! Truly, Arby is The Mack of all macks.
When I finally made it to the first corner at the 4 minute interval of the race I decided to slow down and allow my competitors a fair chance. So I stopped on the side of the road in a place completely determined by the aura of the Supra. It was omniscient in it's desire to not respond to my controls any longer. Like I didn't deserve to drive it. There my story abruptly ends. My unicorn couldn't remove itself from the sandbox on the left hand side of Turn 1 of Road Atlanta. There it still sits. Awaiting the day that I have the ability to drive it. As this story closes I'd like to
thank Arby for such a great gift. Perhaps one day I will be able to return the favor.
