Forum speed is all over the place...

I saw a thread from about a week ago about slow load times. It's been happening to me again the last couple days. Everything will be fine, then all of a sudden it'll take over a minute from the time I hit "post message" to when I get taken back to the thread. Then 5 minutes later every thing's fine again. Anyone else having this happen?

I was just coming here to post about this also. Sometimes it's very fast and other times it just crawls. It seems it's been this way since the upgrade...

It seems to be random. Sometimes doing normal "reply" takes forever, and I just end up doing "quick reply".

Still having the problem, been this way since the change. Just as bad tonight as it's ever been.

I'll hit a link, and the timer on Firefox just sits there counting. Then all of a sudden it'll work, and the links work fine. But only for a minute or so.

Maybe they'll bring back the subscriber forums and they are just showing how slow it'll be unless you purchase. lol

Every other site I visit is zippy skippy except for forums.anandtech.com that seems to have a server connected to a 33.6 winmodem.

For the love of freaking GOD please get rid of this fusetalk GARBAGE and go to a proper forum s/w like VBulletin! There are forums MUCH larger than this one that freaking FLY with Vbulletin.

Every time this upgrade process is done more things get broken. Really I swear it's like climbing out of a GD well and for every foot you gain you fall down six! :|

The speed is HORRIBLE! We have dual T1's on an Astrocom load balancer and every page freaking flies EXCEPT this site. This is intolerable!

Ahh, I was thinking it was an IE7 issue. Good to know I am not the only one having this problem; it has been terribly slow in places and even hangs on the main page from time to time.
