Really can't believe this has been going on for weeks now, without a solution. If they care that little, maybe it's time to close it down?

Take a break every now and then. Or do it in shifts. Don't drop dead all at once!

That's a bit overly-dramatic. It looks like the site has a config problem that causes it to slow down regularly at certain times of the day. Such as the wee hours of the morning. It started crapping out after midnight EST on my end.
